Can you do some headcanons of Camilo as a father/with pregnant reader?
Adult!Camilo caring for his pregnant woman
*-*-*
- He would be ecstatic ! Camilo adored you so much and the thought of creating the fruit of love made him love you even more than he thought possible.
- He would not care much about the baby's gender, tho I can see him as being the best girl dad ever.
- As much as he hoped you would escape it, he had to help you through the morning sickness. Holding your hair back, rubbing soothing circles on your skin as patiently waited by your side.
- Of course Camilo becomes protective of you, even tho he knows Casita won't let anything within the walls and the village was fairly, he couldn't help it.
- Especially when the danger came from yourself. Your sweet, determined self. Once you tried to carry a vaguely heavy bag upstairs, you swore you never saw your husband rush to you so quickly. Don't scare him like that, amore !
- When the cravings came in, he wasn't ready. He loved you, but how could live with himself now that he made a sugary arepa, filled with chocolate and pineapple. Its the price you pay for love I'm afraid.
im still at the restaurant
I love rewatching Encanto every New Year's holiday

GUYS HIS LIL AWKWARD SMILE AND FINGER TAP SKDJEJUDUSKAEFHWHFD I CAN’T.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “I like this one.” Camilo said, gently picking the delicate flower from the soft grass. It was around that time of year where the hill Casita was perched on—well more a noticeable incline rather than a hill—became dotted with an array of colorful flowers among the tall grasses.
You looked up and rolled your eyes, smiling and looking back down at your book. “You’re only saying that because it’s the color of my eyes. You’ve already used that line on me, you sappy romantic.” You said. He had picked a similar color flower just a few days ago and held it up to your face, saying ‘Mi amor, would you look at that. This beautiful flower matches your even more beautiful eyes.’ The suck up. Oh how you loved him.
“Okay, but the color is still pretty, and so are your eyes.” He said, walking over and tucking it behind your ear. He smiled as he looked at the petals complimenting your eyes, before pressing a kiss to your cheek. “Muy Bonita.” He said as you giggled.
“Alright, alright! You’re so cheesy, how many telenovelas have you been watching? I need to tell your uncle to restrict your access to his rat’s shows.” You said as you took the flower out of your hair. Holding it up, you searched for it in your book—a book on flowers and plants. Once you found the page, you gently placed it between the page, planning to make a pressed flower out of it.
Camilo let out a fake gasp, opening his mouth to protest when he felt something brush against his leg. Jumping up with a small shout, he scrambled behind you. “Spider! Giant spider, ugh, it’s so hairy! It must be a tarantula, they’re very hairy and very attracted to me!” He said, loudly and frantically, eyes shut tight. Again he was over exaggerating; sure, he had found two tarantulas in his room, at two separate times—with a year in between those two encounters.
You looked over to where this supposed, all terrifying murderous tarantula was and found…a kitten. A tiny little Selkirk Rex kitten with curly dark brown fur and green eyes (this cat but with green eyes). It looked up at you, letting out a soft new before sitting down. Instantly, you let out a high pitched ‘awww’ before scooping it up, not a single care about fleas or rabies—which by its dirty, muddy coat, made it obvious those were entirely possible for this cat to have.
Camilo raised an eyebrow as you started cooing and petting the cat, scratching behind its ears, under its chin, everything. “Uh…maybe don’t pet the clearly stray cat?” He asked as you gave it little kisses. For a cat, which was so often stereotyped correctly as grumpy, the kitten let you give it all the affection you could, purring loudly.
“Why? Jealous?” You asked, not bothering to look at him as the stray stretched out on its back, earning what tummy scratches from you.
“Wh—psh. No.” He said, crossing his arms and looking away with an overdramatic pout, “I just don’t want my significant other to get bitten and then start foaming at the mouth some time later.”
You looked at him before sighing and getting up. Kitten in arms, you needed his words and headed inside. With Antonio’s help—confirming the cat was stray and possibly flea-infected, Julieta’s—fixing small wounds covering the cat’s skin, and, of course, the village vet’s, you got the cat cleared from all concerns.
So now, as the sun was setting, you and Camilo were giving the kitten a surprisingly un-chaotic bath. He—Antonio had confirmed that the kitten was indeed, male—squirmed around, batting at the bubbles with his tiny paws. You giggled as your boyfriend lifted the kitten up, to which the Selkirk Rex batted his soapy tail against Camilo’s nose, leaving it covered in bubbles.
“He kinda looks like you.” You said with a smile, rubbing the wet fur on the head of the kitten with your thumb. “Curly brown fur, same color as your hair, bright green eyes, and the most adorable face ever.” You said, scrunching your nose up at the Madrigal. “All he’s missing is your freckles and iconic ruana.” You said, to which you received a splash.
With a laugh, a small water fight started between the two of you. The kitten wanted to participate, so with an excited and loud meow, he also bat at the surface of the water with both front paws, creating tiny splashes. More laughs were heard as the tiny creature plunged into the water, coming back up with a pile of bubbles on its snout.
Finally though, you got the little guy all cleaned up and tired. Actually, you two were tired too. About twenty minutes later, Dolores came into her brother’s room to tell him dinner was ready, and found you two. You were both asleep, facing each other on his bed. And between your chests, was the tiny little kitten you two had both taken as your own. Dolores smiled as she left the room, rolling her eyes. It was like you two had a baby.
Each and every one of Bruno's sobrinos is his favorite 😊 (please take note of Bruno's age progression)
Encanto. Luisa and Mirabelle.
The Madrigal family.
Due to the fact that when I was on vacation, my younger cousins watched this cartoon several times a day, I got into it and was inspired by it. And I also fell in love with Luisa and her relationship with Mirabelle (it was just so nice; the eldest is a big, gentle and caring sister and her younger sister, who supported her during a difficult time). Which brings different ideas for this character to my mind. >.< I'll probably make a few more drawings, but I'm not sure that the Incanto theme will be for a long time. :3
