I’m annoyed that most people don’t know Pocahontas broke up with John Smith in her second movie.

Pocahontas 2
So I watched Pocahontas 1 & 2 and I've noticed something, people say that's Frozen was the first movie that Disney made that recognized that you don't marry your first true love. That's not true though. In Pocahontas 2, Pocahontas travels to the new world an falls in love with another man after thinking that John Smith was dead. Turns out he wasn't, and typically the girl would go back to her first true love right? But in the end se decided to stay with John Ralph and John Smith decided to go traveling like he loved. They weren't mad that they couldn't be together, they were happy. They parted ways after following their hearts. What really amazed me was how Disney brought such a strong topic showing that love doesn't always happen once. I truly thought that was amazing and it left such a big impression on me. I mean I was rooting for her to stay with John Smith, but by the end of the movie I noticed that her choice was the right one, because she was following her heart, not the smooth path. I really love this movie and I have to say it's one of the bet Disney sequels I have watched.
right so she chose John Ralph because thats what happened in real life, but she was still wrong
