Can't shake what happened to John Servati, the Alabama swimmer that sacrificed himself for his girlfriend, who he was only dating for a month and a half. He's a hero. And ladies, instead of fantasizing about celebrities that can't follow the law and dreaming of marrying them: find a man like this. One that will protect you and has a good heart. A man that emulates what Christ (self-sacrifice) would do is one you want to marry.

"A beloved University of Alabama athlete and repeat honor roll student who tragically lost his life in Monday's violent storms is being remembered as "a true southern gentleman" who sacrificed himself to save his girlfriend.
"John Servati died a hero," a friend of the 21-year-old student, Anna Gwarjanki, wrote Tuesday on Twitter.
Servati, a member of the school's men's swimming and diving team, was one of thousands hunkered down in the path of violent twisters, hail and thunderstorms throughout several states when a house he was in, located off the Tuscaloosa campus, collapsed, according to the school.
"[He] held up a concrete wall long enough for his girlfriend to get out from under it before it collapsed again on him," wrote Gwarjanki.

John, You truly showed us sacrificial love in the way that you gave your life for your girlfriend. I am proud to say I know a hero like you, and I shared a part of life with you.
