The thing is, I know Ryan/Robert has good chemistry with people in general.

But I can't help but feel the heat is coming primarily from John. And in a way that Oliver hasn't really projected that kind of heat toward Danny.

I'm not feeling it so much from Robert's side.

Honestly, I think they've changed the story slightly.

Now that they've got Robert back I think they've refocused John's obsession from Aaron to Robert.

It's not like he was particularly obsessed with Aaron in the first place. They just kind of liked each other. But we never saw much Johnron development or affection. Or John doing anything special in terms of manipulating Aaron.

Has the story ever actually been about John and Robert fighting over Aaron's affections?

Or is it more John and Aaron secretly competing over Robert? John basically stalking Robert and trying to keep Aaron away from him, whilst Aaron yearns to reconnect.

Worth thinking about who's really the object of affection in this love triangle.
