It's always the fairy tales. Gemini thought as he watched idly as the Yard began to enter the house where the young child —more like a lady now possibly— had been held captive as she had been missing for more than 18 years. It was clear that the nurse kept a close eye on the woman's family and took the opportunity to take the young child from its parents in a desperate attempt to bring recreate his dead daughter.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, lay down your hair.
As the detective inspector Lestrade finally walked out, with him was a young woman with a long black hair wrapped with what he remembered as a shock blanket. Next to the lady was John. The ever reliable doctor as he checked the condition of the patient which he can only assume would most definitely be overwhelmed right now with all the noise and the light and the people hogging around her. Rolling his eyes, he fished out a small chocolate candy to unwrap before putting it on his mouth.
It's always the fairy tales. Ugh. What a boring theme.
His feet however, began to move towards the back of the house. The noise was absolutely faint but with the crisp sound of the leaves and the rustle from the bushes brought him the person he's looking for. The star of the party: Jessica Haynes. One of the chief nurses in one of the St. Thomas' Hospital. Looking disheveled, Gemini couldn't help but stifle a laugh with her appearance.
It may have not been the best method, he realized when she points a gun at him. "It's rather pointless even if you make an attempt to run at this point." He said as he raised his hands in the air. "You shoot me and they'll still be going at you. You might end up being shot at too. Is that the way you really want to go, Mrs. Haynes?" Seeing a familiar figure behind the woman, carefully treading on to lounge an attack to disarm her, Gemini simply continued. "Just like in three…two…"
And there she was, the star of the party no more as she's been tackled on the floor. It almost made him laugh before he realized who he's speaking to. Clearing his throat, he turned to John. "Just in time. How's the girl?"
