one problem with having john as a kin type is just the fact that he was so dissociated from every thing. it makes recovering solid memories incredibly difficult. the most i have are things i saw in dreams or fan works that resonated with me.

other than that, i tend to just sort of vent my emotions through john and predict what i went through as him like that. like, when i feel lonely some times i’ll imagine what it could’ve been like for john after doing the retcon and what his relationships were like after that.

i guess that’s as efficient of memory recovering i can get with him, though. it sucks not being able to say you remember some thing for certain, and that your “memories” were just sort of pulled out of your ass.
