Sherlock, they are teasing you. You deserve the truth about this: you have never been romantically involved with John (publicly, at least). It seems like your memory is working just fine. I’m sorry they are messing with you and making you doubt your memory.
But why should John of all people make this up? He wouldn't be so cruel to make such a thing up to mess with me, now would he? He is an honest and loyal person, he wouldn't do that. @consultjohnwatson you didn't make this up, right?
