I truly love this story to pieces. Sherlock has been in love with John for a while, but John doesn't know. When John's long time girlfriend breaks up with him, Sherlock tries to help him through it by being the best friend he can be. (That's a terrible synopsis, but the story is much better than that) Sherlock may be somewhat out of character, but I like how this story makes him human without being too human, if that makes sense. He's just as awkward as I'd think he would be and his perception of certain situations exactly how I'd think they would be. A lot readers dislike the lack of total sociopathy that this Sherlock has, but in my opinion he's not entirely a sociopath. No sociopath fakes a suicide to save his friends. In my opinion. Regardless, this is a light story with moments of angst that are resolved. Not too depressing and super cute. So, if that's what you're going for, this is what you should read!
