Oh well, still thinking about him...
the evil HIM.
Idc if this portrayal is right... I don't think we'll ever get more canon information about SR4 Prime *sob*
STILL thinking about the Gat clone so I'll just scribble some things down....??
oh god.... make it stop
I have an AU with my friend about her OC Eric and the Gat clone (we call him 'John' for that AU) teaming up against the Saints (ง🔥_🔥)ง
And they are kinda equal because both of them were created by humans~
This is only an AU I share with my friend. It has nothing to do with the theory I have about the evil Gat clone ✌
SR4 Prime - Endings Theory
A while ago I wrote down my theory for the cancelled SR4 Prime but it was actually not everything I thought about…
There was also alot of things going through my head. And one of those things are "how would that game have endet?"
We have an Evil Gat clone as the main villain, so I believe he‘d be the final bossfight.
And I think there are 3 possible outcomings, depending on Volitions plan for the upcoming Saints Row.
Possible Ending 1:
Easy and not alot to say. Boss wins the fight against the evil Gat clone. We have a typical „the main character is the hero“ ending.
Also we would never see Gat again in the upcoming games but everything else is possible aka new city new enemie gangs. Alot of space for another Saints Row.
Possible Ending 2:
Boss and the Gat clone survive. It might be possible that Volition would have wanted to bring Gat back to their next game as well… so maybe that clone would have taken original Gats place as the Boss’ second hand…
Probably the least realistic of the three options. But it would be still possible since Gat is called the fandoms favourite (at least by the fandom itself I guess?) and Volition might have wanted to keep him. And that would be an easy way to bring him back after k1lling him off in SRTT.
Possible Ending 3:
Boss AND the Gat clone die.
And this is the one I actually believe would have happened.
I think Boss and Gat are equally strong so an outcoming in which none of them survives feels kinda right… Not right in ‚I want that‘ but right in a way of „I don‘t think one of them would back down in a fight“-way. I think they would fight till the bitter end. Since I believe they are equally strong there is no winner in this fight.
Also do I believe that Volition planned to end the SR storyline long ago…
I think they would have wanted to give the SR storyline a ‚closure‘ and that would have been by letting the Boss and Gat disappear completely as well.
I don‘t think that a "Gat clone wins over Boss" is a possible outcoming so I don‘t think about that one but I feel like it would have been a similar reason to ending 3.
Also actually would not like any of those endings at all. None of them are satisfying but SR4Prime for sure would have endet in something similar ro those options...
Thinking about this I‘m glad about the original SRIV ending. I know Boss and Gat are happy and alive… What could I ask more for since I know they‘ll never be in a new game ever again...
The Evil Johnny Gat Clone - My theory?
SinceI stumbled over Volition 10th Years of Saints Row Anniversary Stream again I wanted to write about SR4 Prime… or especially about the „Evil Gat Clone“.
And yes, I do have a theory about him but it really is ONLY a small theory and in no way confirmed.
So here we go:
First of all, we know SR4 Prime would have played after SRTT.
That means our original Johnny Gat would be no more alive. He died in the Morningstars plane.
And that is actually essential to the question „Where does the evil Gat clone come from?“
We know the Morningstars had the technology to clone people. Like they did with Oleg.
So I thought: What if the Morningstars managed to take Johnny Gats dead body with them off the plane and tried to clone him??
In my theory they did exactly that and managed to built an exact copy of Johnny.
The only difference: The clone does not have og Gats memories.
This particular clone lived and learned from the people that were with the Morningstars… so this place, those people are his origin.
And I really don‘t think the Morningstars ever treated the clones bad at all.
Just like the Brutes: if they would have been treated in a bad way I think they would have never fought with the Morningstars side by side.
And this is important because I always wondered why the Gat clone might hate the Saints.
And as we know the Saints destroyed the Syndicate… therefore also the place that the clone might have called is „home“ aka the place he belongs to.
But all is gone. Because of the Saints!
So his reason of wanting to get rid of them is that he has no more place he belongs to because of them.
But the Saints have already became famous and a big organization on their own over the years…
So he needs time and a good place to built his own empire.
And for sure does this in a different city, since he can do that hidden from the Saints there.
That city… that would have been our new map for SR4 Prime.
This might not be much but I actually think it would make sense?
At least enough sense to fit in a SR game as a tiny backstory? Maybe? Maybe not…
If Steve Jaros will be back on twitter again one day. I‘ll try to get in contact to him.
I want to know if there was already a story for SR4 Prime and this character at all.
And if there is one I wanna know the truth.
Additional:
The character?
I think he barely cares about the people around him.
„Important people“ in his life left and he probably came to the conclusion that it is easier to reach your goals if you don‘t set too much trust into other people.
I think he‘d be a character that wants to get things done. So if a gang-member doesn‘t act the way he wants to or doesn‘t get their job the way they should, he doesn‘t need them and gets rid of them…
But this is also just a theory.
But it just seems fitting for an „evil clone“ to be mercyless.
Why do I portray the Gat Clone with formal clothes?
Obviously since I think that he has some kind of connection to the Sindicate/ the Morningstars I wanted to portray him close to Phillipe Loren.
I don‘t think they had a great contact to each other at all. I just think the clone might have in some way have looked up to Loren since he in the end also is his „creator“… not directly but he was the Boss of the Syndicate… so therefore I feel like there should be a connection.
BUT it was important to me to not add any colours to his outfit after all. I have no idea what colours Volition wanted to give to his new „organization“ and I truly think they didn`t know that own their own back then.
And another simple reason: Villain characters in suits? I think that just works.
Why the clone also wears sunglasses?
Since he is a clone of Johnny, who canonly has bad eyesight, he would at least wear glasses? Sure he could also wear contact lenses or have eye surgery but I decided for sunglasses again bcs it’s just VERY iconic for Gat and also makes sense to give that feature to his evil counterpart as well.
The red eyes?
He has no red eyes at all.
I just like to portray him this way in art to make it visible that this is not the original Gat.
In summary:
I care way to much about a canceled character and my brain is not available for common sense.
THANKS FOR READING ANYWAY! ♡
I like the Gat-Clone... I just can't really draw him... 💔
