He was quoting the Bible, Revelations...
TOMBSTONE (1993) dir. George P. Cosmatos
My biggest "Hear Me Out" will always be Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo from Tombstone (1993). And despite having absolutely no time to write as of late (to the point where I haven't even been able to finish my birthday fic from early jan), I'm so utterly tempted to write a Yandere fanfic starring these two and a little filly darling just trying to run her own ranch.
Like, just imagine...
Your pa was some big-time rancher back in the day. Well off, man who made quite a name for himself. Even helped out the local sheriff, Wyatt Earp, and his ragtag deputy, Doc Holliday, once or twice. And well, let's just say you and Doc may have been smitten the couple of times you two met.
Flash forward a few years, and your Pa's given you some money and land to start a ranch of your own, some ways past Tombstone, Arizona, says it'll make a proper heir out of you.
You were raised on pearl roscoes almost as much as you were raised on holy hymns of righteousness. You knew you could make it on your own
But little do you know that a certain gambling man has been following your every step since you two last met at a victory dinner your father hosted some years ago after helping capture some rogue outlaws.
Doc stalks the shadow of your ranch like a renegade specter. Sticking to the gloom where your pretty eyes can never reach him. He watches as you feed the cows and exercise the horses. Sometimes on foggy days, when you're too wrapped up in dragging water back from the well and rounding up loose cattle. Doc steps off his horse, rolls up his sleeves, and starts helping out. Pulling the hay stacks into the barn and grooming your horses. Collecting the chicken eggs and leaving them on your table.
And you've never once questioned the help. How could you? By the time you get back, you're so tuckered out and utterly grateful that you don't stop to think how bizarre this arrangement truly is. Just thanking whichever angel the Lord has sent to help you.
He feels rotten about it, he really does. Doc Holliday may be a lot of things. Stalker of you ladies, he is not... at least that's what he tells himself so he can sleep at night holding one of your nightgowns close to his chest. Inhaling your scent as blood drips past his lips, marring the white garment
Every so often, you end up going to town, and that's how you, unlucky little girl that you are, ended up catching the attention of one Johnny Ringo. Not at first and not all at once. You'd been nothing more than the new face in town, a pretty girl, who in many ways was a death warrant wrapped in innocent promises. Tombstone doesn't take kindly to strangers.
But apparently neither do you.
His gang mates had flocked to you as naturally as wolves to a stray lamp. Pulling their horses next to yours and tugging at your sleeves and skirt. Ringo had found himself content with watching the spectacle from the shade of the saloon. He'd almost found it funny how his boys pushed and pulled at you like a dog with a bone.
That's until you pulled out your revolver.
And left his boys bleeding on the hot sand. Painting it a lovely shade of crimson. It made him think of rose petals.
Bullet holes garnishing their legs, and arms, and shoulders.
You'd been so fast, too fast. Like a rattlesnake. Your revolver had already been sheathed by the time anyone had noticed the wounds.
Ringo continues to watch as the sheriff runs over to you. Perplexed more than anything. You lean forward on your horse. One finger absent-mindedly curling the animal's mane.
"I reckon a lady has the right to defend themselves, don't you marshal?"
Oh, you're one wild filly ain't you? Ringo wonders what you'd look like at the end of his barrel. Wonders if he can outdraw you. His eyes wander over to Bill's, wondering if their fearless leader will be out for your blood now that you've paralyzed his men.
Well, he’s just gonna have to make sure he gets to you first. Right doll? He can practically hear a sarcastic lilt sung in the cadence of your voice. As he tilts your head up with his gun, making you stare into his eyes. Ringo shivers with a pulse of excitment his battered blackened heart pounding against his ribs.
Ringo can taste a sliver of anger on his tongue. Almost like he doesn't want anything or anyone else in his sight except you. When his gaze finally lands on you again, he can't help but notice a certain red-eyed gambler whose regard is also pinned on you. Filled to the brim with a profound adoration.
No way Ringo's going to let Lunger get the better of him. No way in hell he's going to let another man have you.
And on the other side of town, hidden in the shade of another saloon, Doc Holliday is glaring daggers at the man who dares gaze upon his darling angel. And dreaming of how good Dear ol'Ringo will look with a bullet wound in his temple.
think I'll call it something like"Rattle Snakes & Rotten Hiers." The OST would be John Wayne by CAS & Cowboy like me/BDILH by T.S
Idk if I’ll actually turn into a full fic. I just wanted to get these two out of my head and on paper. Someone pls telling why I’m crushing on these two idiots!!
What do you want, Ringo?

Headcanons for asking Tombstone men if you can ride their face...
yes, this is smut. I've done headcanons like this before and idk, I recently interacted with some of the people who are also in the fandom. It's interesting for me to see how far I've come from troy to this.
f!reader sorry
THIS IS SMUT
Characters are: Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp, Johnny Ringo, sorry, I cannot do Curly Bill because idk how to write him
why am I doing this, I'm so embarrassed because I had entirely to much fun with this
Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell) tries to defuse the mounting tension by explaining that Doc is drunk. Holliday slurs into his whiskey: “in vino veritas” (in wine [there is] truth). When Ringo responds with “age quod agis” (do what you do [best]), Doc is taken aback. Ringo’s free adaptation of a Latin proverb is a marker of a formal classical education and therefore also of his elevated class position. Their ensuing exchange of pre-formulated Latin sentences is as much a contest of social-status and cultural one-upmanship as it is a conversation. (x)
sat down, looked in the mirror, and realized Tombstone was a comedy
