I received several messages from jaylashua-comicwriter today, and I'm sorry man, but I'm definitely not the person you think I am. My name isn't Emily, and I don't think I've ever met/spoken to you before.

I think the thing thats wrong with that trans post is that it says that young children can't understand other genders and that it's not transphobic to force binary gender ideals on them until they're "old enough" to figure it out or something :/

Hmm, I don’t know where I stand on this. Because, yes it’s possible for young children to understand binary gender ideals, and it’s good if they do; but I don’t think it’s very likely for them to. Because young children don’t really concern themselves with social issues/labelings when they’re really young. Well, only the things (labels/ideas) their parents and teachers, etc. teach them; and even if the parents et al did teach them, the child might not understand the other details and reasonings behind binary gender/trans/etc. ideals.

I don’t know, it all depends on the individual and what not. So I guess I’m trying to say that I don’t disagree with waiting until a person is “old enough” to figure out/teach these ideals to them.

OR People can teach simple things and progressively add detail to their teachings when the child gets older.

Ugggh, I don’t know, I’m just rambling at this point. Social/gender/sexuality/identity ideals are ever changing (like more info, or a different category, etc.) and it’s difficult to know them all and all the details.

Like it’s impossible to learn and teach everything, ya feel?

last week when I was walking to school I had to cross the road 'cause there were these deer just staring me down and they wouldn't move out of my way wildlife is so aggressive
