#johhnnybroncosbbq has been on a COVID hiatus, but this weekend we took a trip to Beacon Brewing Co. in LaGrange, GA. Food and brew was so good I had ZZ Top on my mind. Rumor spreadin’ ‘round In that Georgia town Bout that brew company in La Grange. Just letting you know, if you gonna go Gotta try that Waves of Grain. You also need to get the Beacon Queso Fries and the pork belly fried green tomato grilled cheese. Chuck roast with Weber Brisket rub. Smoked at 250 degrees until internal temp was 165. Wrapped in butcher paper and smoked until 195 degrees. Wrapped in towels and placed in a not cold cooler and allowed to rest for two hours. Very juicy and tender.
