Carpe Aestas [ Johnny & Rose ]
The last days of Summer were slipping away into the cool air of Fall and with a person with thick frizzy hair that made sweat cling to the back of her neck she was thankful for it. Especially when she stepped out of the large brick highschool, rays of sun shining down on her and blinding her for a brief moment.
While everyone after school was mostly either going to the public pool to soak up the last rays of sun or the Socs were throwing their back to school summer beer blasts Rose was more focused on heading home and flipping through the book she had to read for her first assignment in Literature.
Sighing, she looked for her brother, having a bit of difficulty trying to find him in the sea of teenagers hopping into cars and clogging up the spaces. She managed to find a familiar face, alone which was surprising. She grinned a little and wandered over to Johnny, oddly without the company of Ponyboy.
She didn't know him all that well, just that he had trouble with his folks and that was pretty easy to find out. Just walk by his house whenever there's a sale down at the 4th Street Liquor Store.
"Hay, Johnny," she greeted. "You seen my brother anywhere?"

Hallen was at home. He walked outside to look at the house. It looked sad, scary and abandoned. Just the way he liked it. He walked around to the back of the house picking some of the brightly colored flowers. His sister Persephone joined him and they made a crown. A crown the color of blue and yellow. One of the only vibrant things in Halloween Town was the flowers. As he walked into the house from the back door, he heard a knock on the door. He opened it with a smile, "Hello. How may I help you?"
