Jackson stayed calm as he saw her back up, “I’m half human.  Mom was a mermaid, dad was a human.  I didn’t learn the culture from my mom.”

Running a hand through his hair he said, “I’m Jackson and I live on Oahu, Hawaii.  I haven’t really encountered other mermaids so I don’t know much.”

Chuck lifted his arm, sniffing, “Are you sure? I think you’re lying, I think I smell pretty bad.”

He dropped his arm, giving her a half smile, he had only been joking but he wanted to make this woman happy. He looked around, scratching the back of his head, “I guess we don’t exactly got to prank this medium…”

He dropped his hand, “Okay, how ‘bout this. Is there anywhere you wanted to go before, but haven’t yet?”

Sephe shook her head, “I don’t smell anything.”  She wouldn’t lie to Chuck, that’d be rude.

Scratching her arm she looked down as she thought.  "I didn’t go to a bookstore yet.  I haven’t found one around here,“ she whispered.  Her eyes flickered from him to the ground multiple times, liking how he looked but being too shy to vocalize it.

Update

I haven't been on here for awhile and o thought I should give you all an update. My depression has been getting better and so have my anxiety. I'm going to be deleting almost all of my threads. PLEASE send me a message if you'd like to keep a thread going. I will respond to the ones that have already been talked about but all others will be deleted. I will then make a starter (16 in total) for all of my characters (Peter/ Petra counting as two). Thank you guys for staying with me through this Lon hiatus. I hope to be back on here in a month or two. Hope you're all doing well -The Mun
