Hey, so I also receive accommodations in school. I'm just saying, just because you're entitled to something (which is totally legit), should the rest of the class have to not look at a photo that possibly enriches a lecture or really drives a point home? If there's one thing I've learned, it's that it's big fair to force your accommodation onto the rest of the class. You can only focus on making adjustments on an individual level, but to the whole pre-made lesson. Photos are the for a reason!

right but it also wouldn't be hard for her to say "there's a dead body in this next slide" i would literally just put my head down until she moved on and that doesn't do anything to impair or disrupt the lesson at all

i didn't mention this before, but i should say it now because this is my other issue with it: the slide with the dead body is for a presentation on depression and suicide, and the photo is of someone who has hanged themselves. this could be extremely triggering to even people who don't share my phobia for myriad reasons. 

obviously there's no right way to go about it, and i can't pretend to know the best way to accommodate me while not compromising the class. i'm just throwing out ideas and what i would prefer. and what i would prefer is the ability to actually go to class and not worry about having a panic attack.

My son gets them alot in the winter. Usually because the air in the house if very dry. That seems to trigger them for him, at least.

Yeah, I get mine a lot in the winter and in the changes of season and my nose gets dry a lot. Though it's usually very humid where I am so it's kinda strange
