My dear friends and loyal guests of the Johnson mill… it is with a very heavy heart I have to make this announcement. On Oct.15th, 2014, the Johnson Mill will be shutting its doors permanently. I want to personally thank you all for your support and friendship over the past 20 years. It has been a wonderful experience and we value and love all the many friends we have met from all over the world that have come to stay with us. It has been an honor and I thank you all. The Johnson Mill is an historic landmark, a five story flour mill that shipped flour to Belgium during WW2, provided ice to the local Native American Indians and has been a special part of the community since the turn of the century. I have tremendous respect for this beautiful piece of property and have dedicated my life to protecting it. Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a situation that has led us to seek other avenues for the survival of this place we love so dearly. After months of consideration, we have found a group that shares our love and respect for the Mill. I'm not at liberty yet to say who will be the tenants for the next 10 to 15 years, but I will let you know soon. Just wanted to send a note to everyone and say THANK YOU!!! And please.... PLEASE come stay with us some time in the next month. www.johnsonmill.com As for me... I hang up my hat as an innkeeper / hotel owner... And continue on as an actor / filmmaker with a bit more time on my hands to peruse my work. And I am very excited about that. But will miss tremendously the place I've loved since I was a kid. Thank you all so much!! #johnsonmill #thejohnsonmill #mill #thankyou #midway #midwayutah #utah #gristmill #utahhistory #changeisgood #chapter2 #C2BFT
