Title: ‘Pulp Fiction’

Released: 14th October 1994 Stars: 9 Notes: For anyone who’s actually seen ‘Pulp Fiction’, can you answer this question? “What is ‘Pulp Fiction’ about?” no, you can’t answer that! Why? Because it isn’t really about anything, it has no story line that intends to go anywhere, to try and prove a point or give a meaningful message, it’s simply a number of carefully crafted story lines that all somehow intertwine with each other, although it may not be made obvious.  Quentin Tarantino is a very talented director producing such goldmines as ‘Kill Bill’, ‘Inglorious Basterds’ and ‘Reservoir Dogs’, has managed to pull off a vast multitude of scenes, characters, and most importantly plots! The star studded cast are all renowned for each role played in the film, and with being one of the most quoted films of all time, it won’t be forgotten any time soon. A Classic.

  The film was both hilarious and enthralling, and a film you can never grow tired of watching! The characters relationships were easy to follow, yet were all linked to each other in some way or another! The poster for the film very much depicts the era the film was set in, and some of the underlying themes throughout do the same, wheather it be racial controversy (Joules), fashion sense (Mia), drug use (Vince), values and morals (Ringo) and gang related violence (Marcellus).   Overall the film is constantly entertaining, one of those ‘if you look away you’ll miss it’ kind of films, I don’t really have a lot to write about it because as I said it doesn’t really have a point I guess, so that’s it! It’s a must see, really!
