I had the best time yesterday at the Tri-Valley Wedding Professional networking event and met the amazing and talented @rachel.sheerin who shared great insight that every small business person can use! She had way more things to say but the take away from the night was really “being you” and “selling yourself” because you wouldn’t want to work with someone who didn’t want to work with you in the first place! Hence her topic “The BFF factor” - our clients should want to be our best friend as we would want the same in return, because why do something you don’t want to do? I think more and more (more recent than not) that’s what I’ve been encountering too and forgiving myself for not booking ‘that one lead’ because well.. frankly after they’ve gotten to know this silly hopeless romantic dog loving foodie travel enthusiast karaoke queen... well - it’s OK! I’m that vendor that will be there ALL DAY LONG with you so you should want to get to know me better, as I you.. BUT - the exact opposite has also been happening.... I have been booking clients who can’t wait to get to know me better and I the same AND GUESS WHAT - we have the time of our life and I cant wait for some of my upcoming weddings this year and next! There is a good god (or higher power, being. Love, something up there) that is always giving and when you lose one lead, just know that you are bound for something better! Thanks to my love second shooter @ccwilliams__imagery for this cool photo that she snapped of me at a wedding earlier this spring! #loveissimple #bayareaweddingphotographer #canonprofessionalservices #thisisme #joiethongsavath #sfwedding #sfengagementphotographer #sanfanciscoweddingphotographer #eastbayphotographer #simplejoiephoto #lifeisbeautiful #creatorofthings (at The Manor Estate) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0Wj30cDG49/?igshid=1cc7c8jok0n7i
