NYC and Brooklyn brewers went on strike on June 6, with limited success. They ultimately won a reduction of hours from 96 to 90 hrs/wk.

I'm begging, I'm on my hands and knees.

Please read your contact when you start a job, look over your entitlements, how many breaks you get, if your organisation pays for you laundry, when you get a meal allowance, annual and sick leave.

No one, especially your manager, is going to tell you this.

More importantly, use your entitlements. You get a 30 minute unpaid break? Take it. Paid breaks? Please take it.

While you're at it, sign up for your union.
