my brother and i were doing a modded stardew with a twist, doing joja run, semi isolation challenge on the (also modded) hilltop farm
1st of the month we can go out, but only to joja
every wednesday we both can go out, aka when pierres is closed
he can leave on friday, and I can leave on sunday
if it's a rainy day we can both leave after 12
and no festivals until year two when the restriction lift a little and we can both go out on friday/sunday
year three we can leave friday to sunday
after year four we can leave everyday in spring/summer/fall
we set up the farm as if it's been slightly abandoned:
two silos, empty, no hay to be found
1 big coop and 1 big barn and 1 big shed
the story we are going with is the coop and barn used to be deluxe, but after years of disuse they have deteriorated, any animals were sold long before we arrived
the big shed we have is blocked off in a corner where we cant enter, it's taking up space but we won't have time to deal with it until winter
(winter rules are a little different:
we stay on the farm on wednesdays but we must also choose a solo day for the night market
where we both can go out for the day but must be back at the farm by 5 when the night market starts if it's not the day they choose
year two: we choose two days and we can both go to them
year three: we can go to all three days
year four: stay on the farm on wednesdays is lifted)
we have all the trees fully grown, but they aren't anything special anymore(aka why they arent quality after being grown for "years")
there used to be a slime hutch but it's long gone now, conveniently every night slimes(and other monsters) spawn on the farm..they must be the escaped slimes
there's a cave of mushrooms already growing! what a lucky find..
anyway one of the mods broke the file and its unreadable now so we might start this over, maybe find another challenge or go back to our river farm file, not much was lost though, it was fun to play and we were only about 10 hours so not much time investment yet
