A short-short about the Boiler Room Ballad

“UNBLOCK ME, BITCH!” George was drunk as hell. Drunk off of the booze he had had with Tanner, and drunk off of the adrenaline born from stage fright. Was she watching? He wondered. No one could see the real him behind his shades. Good.

For every word he sang for her, he had the hope that she spared a thought for him. Maybe she thought of the time they had spent together. Maybe she remembered how he made her laugh with the dumbest jokes and made her blush with the mere touch of his hand. Did she remember how he loved to brush his tongue across her soft bottom lip? How could she forget his eyes, the color of black coffee, like the kind he would brew for her after a night full of their love? Those weren’t tears George were shedding. He told himself it was just sweat.

“I just want to make sure you’re all safe, all safe…” George tried to keep the crowd steady in his sight, but all he could think of was his shock when he saw her battered body that she tried to conceal with a longsleeves shirt and jeans. Who was she trying to fool? At the time, it was a warm summer evening. He tried to tell her, begged her, to be with him instead. Leave him. He’d treat her infinitely better, love her way better. He would tenderly kiss her bruises and wounds and make her his queen.

But no.

In his eyes, everyone in the crowd were pieces of his broken heart, the one that she had crushed into fine bits.

“Thank you,” he said quietly into the mic. No one really applauded him, but he imagined that maybe if she had chosen him, she would have been in the crowd, smiling proudly and clapping for him.

i stalked laurens instagram a lil bit and honestly all the pics i could relate to joji like the pedi one, they posted like months apart so idk? they do follow eachother but yeah, also shes only 18 and id rather think he wouldnt date someone that much younger than him lol

Then they could just be friends. As social as he is, he definitely has friends that are girls. We won’t know for sure about her or his age range that he prefers, but either way I hope he’s living happily. (Now I feel bad for the whole “she cute lock it up” thing. ;-; I mean, she is cute, though.)

do you think pink guy is still under chin chin's curse? i feel like he got away from it too easy

I think he kind of escaped, but the curse is probably still affecting his mind in some way. There is also the weird thing that happened with the Condemned, so we still haven’t gotten closure from that. He escaped from the severity of the curse in that moment, but I don’t think he fully rid himself of it.

I don't know about the pinky ring situation. Maybe he was lying but during Dash radio someone asked about it and he said "I really liked it when I seen it go I just bought it. I likes it I buys it -laughs-" so I'm pretty sure there is no meaning behind it. But maybe I could be wrong.

I know as much as you, pretty much. I think it’s just a fashion thing (I loved that part during the show omg). It was just a theory I had stewing for a while, but it’s too weak and it has too many assumptions. 3deep5me

Hello little! I saw your answer to the "How tall do you think Joji is" and I actually know a few things. Max and Ian have talked about their heights, actually! Max is 6ft and Ian is 6'2 while Joji seems to be around 5'9 maybe- He has never talked about it and no one has ever predicted how tall he is- I hope this helps!
