Johnny: This is the story… Of how I die.
Gypunzel: Jonathan!
J: Okay, okay. Spoiler alert: I don’t actually die. But stick around, this is a good story. This… Is the continued story of the prince, Gypunzel.
G: That’s me!
J: This is the magical kingdom of Corona, home of the Prince, and your’s truly (that’s me). See that big castle up there? The one on top of everything? Pretty sweet, right? That’s where the two of us live, happily married. We even let the in-laws in too! I’d say we’re living the good life. Servants, riches, stunning views-
G: Ahem.
J: Right, right. Anways, scoot close, get comfortable, because we got one hell of a story to tell!
G: You remember the flower that gave me magic healing hair? The gift from the sun?
J: WELL Mr. or Ms. (whichever you prefer) Sun decided one gift was not enough, and decided to give us another drop of light. Except this drop was bigger, and like 100 times more powerful than the previous one! And this one droplet fell from the heavens, could have landed ANYWHERE in the world, and you wanna know where it landed? Yup, you guessed it.
G: On me.
J: ON GYPUNZEL! Jee, thanks Sun (Can you notice my sarcasm yet?).
G: In an instant, the droplet soaked into my hair, then suddenly, my hair turned gold and grew out to it’s original length! It was powerful enough to send a shock wave through the entire kingdom and further out. And… That burst of power… brought back someone I never thought I’d see again…
J: Mother Valentine. You’d think she’d just, y’know, stay dead, but no! That little ‘gift’ from the Sun just HAD to bring her back!
G: We tried everything we could to cut my hair, but the more powerful droplet made my hair stronger; not even the sharpest blade could cut a single hair. My mother and father went into a panic, fearing I would be taken again, and well… Did something a bit drastic.
J: They locked Gypunzel away, in the highest tower in the castle, and forbid anyone (even ME) from entering. Really rubs salt into the wound doesn’t it?
G: All I wanted in life was freedom, to leave my tower, and just when I think I have that freedom, I’m locked away again. J: But hey, don’t you worry! Ol’ Johnny Rider has busted Gypunzel out of one tower, I can surely do it again; what can I say? I’m a natural. Stick along for the rest of the journey, because it’ll only get better from here!
