I followed you by accident due to sailor moon stuff and don't wanna unfollow but I want you specifically to know my name actually is Jojo and Everytime a stranger asks me if it's a jojo reference when I introduce myself I scream internally and cry myself to sleep

Well, oh. That’s a big “oh.” Is “Jojo” a nickname for you, or is your name literally “Jojo?” I can imagine that would get annoying, especially if you aren’t a fan of the jojo series. My friend is a walking Jojo reference because she has a tell-tale star birthmark on her shoulder (which is characteristic of all the main characters in the JoJo series). But I suppose that’s not apples-to-apples because she willingly chose to get that tattoo.

But that is a very interesting coincidence. Um, I have a similar annoyance--my name’s Taylor and for some reason, people hear “Tyler” and proceed to call me that...even when I correct them. Not as interesting, but I thought it’d be funny to share.

that’s pretty much true! i’ve only ever had pumpkin pie once here, and it was in a peruvian restaurant. pumpkins are only sold in supermarkets here during halloween season, too

My dad recommended good omens to me and I asked "is it cus its gay?" And he's like "no why? " I haven't seen the show but I've seen the stuff on my dash..... I... I don't know what to tell him.. Should I tell him it's gay..

I mean, hard to look at all the heart-eye-faces Crowley makes at Aziraphale, and the fact that Michael Sheen has straight up said he played Zira as in love with Crowley, and not at least say that it’s queer representation. It’s somehow both obvious and not (if you’re not looking for it), because their relationship is represented in a (very relatable to me) romantic asexual way, and the angels and demons are all technically nonbinary beings even if they have preferred gendered pronouns (but like hey same here), but yeah, in a generalized way of describing it: IT’S PRETTY GAY. If that’s not how he saw it, assuming he saw it already (can I assume that? It sounds like he watched it and thought you would too, so he recommended it to you), I’d say that’s perfectly fine and you don’t have to tell him.

Or be a wild card like me who watched it cause my parents (both conservative folks but are loving and supportive so like contradiction much?) recommended it to me, and then I show up a week later at their house and give an in-depth analysis as to why Crowley and Aziraphale are totes in love. Your dad is an adorable guy, so really if you think he’ll be okay hearing the media he just consumed is hella queer actually, then do so, but if he might get weird about it then maybe not? Oof that’s a hard one. I’ve never known you to not just say it like it is so it’s really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. If I need to bust down your door and give that same in-depth analysis to your dad too, Jojo, just give me a few days to drive out there and make my dramatic entrance.

As a kid, my dream was to in one way or another physically consume aloe vera. Today, I got this alie vera drink at a store and all my dreams came TRUE. It had aloe chunks and everything and its just...everything you hoped aloe would taste like.

We were talking about aloe drinks on here a long time ago and a lot of people said they really enjoy it! I knew they were a thing, but I had no idea there were aloe chunks inside?? lol, I still haven’t had the chance to try one, but it sounds pretty great!
