L’Arc~en~Ciel - Jojoushi (Lyrical Poetry)

[M] I absolutely adore L’arc~en~Ciel, and this is one of my favourite tracks by them (I have quite a few). Poem/ Lyrical Poetry is an amazing track, it is slower and more chill than some of their other stuff but it is definitely worth a listen. L’arc~en~Ciel is a group that has been active in Japan since 1991 and continue to release music even though many of the members are getting close to being around the 50 year old mark. Hyde is probably my favourite Japanese vocalist as I love everything he does (solo work, L’arc~en~Ciel and his other group Vamps). S introduced me to him several months ago after watching the movie Moon Child with her favourite Jrock artist Gackt in it. Ever since then I have been neck deep in Hyde’s music and I don’t regret it. I actually ended up discovering I knew a few of their songs from anime’s that I had seen before and that was awesome. So today kpoppers I introduce to you Japan’s L’arc~en~Ciel and I hope you enjoy!

[S] L’Arc~en~ciel is one of those groups that I feel like everyone know’s without actually knowing that they know them. They have been around for so long and like M said they have released so many Anime OST’s I think it would be actually pretty hard to say you have never actually come across one of Hyde’s songs in your life one way or another and since he has like 3 projects going there is a very good chance you have heard a least SOMETHING from him. Unless you are C.. I feel like C could probably say that... 

Anyways onto this song it is definitely not one of my favorites but I don’t dislike it. I am actually a fan of his more heavier stuff VS the balladish tracks like this. Hyde has a great rocker voice even if he lacks power he manages to pull it off well. I do really enjoy his music depending on my mood but he doe’s do this weird gasping thing with his voice that really annoys me so I have to be in the mood for his music otherwise I tend to not listen to him.

[C] With my current mood I’m not really feeling this. It’s probably because I’m tired too but it felt like it went on forever. S, you’ve showed me so many Hyde things back in the day you of all people shouldn’t say that. I may not listen to his music at all but when someone brings him up I definitely know who he is.
