Christmas time in my family means gift time

And as gift I asked for some of the Twilight books:

(Also for my novel obviously, since it’s jokingly inspired by Twilight amongst other novels)

Anyway, I hope you’re all having a nice Christmas or a nice day in general <33

I just love how Yantao (The ship between Yanfei and Hu Tao if you didn’t know) is the most popular ship for these two on AO3.

And the girls literally have no visible interactions in Genshin Impact.

They canonically met because Yanfei said Hu Tao rarely seeks her for legal advices (So it doesn’t mean never), but that’s all, no event meeting, nor mentions of each other other than this one.

And the Yantao nation makes me laugh in a kind way because this is just a bunch of people (Myself included) who said go duck yourself canon, their dynamic is absolutely incredible and we live for it.

Now the ship is just hella popular (even though it is slowly dying-)

I get why people prefer most plausible or canon ships, but I love seeing this kind of rareships (Even the ones with zero interactions in or out of the original work). Because the fans use a potential dynamic the original work didn’t use and they vibe with it like it was a totally normal and very in-lore relationship. It makes them happy and that’s not a problematic ship, so why stopping them from loving those two ?

So if you are too a shiper who loves non-problematic rareships and such, know that you have the right to be happy with a ship even though it is not canon or don’t have any kind of canon content !

And if a person doesn’t like a ship for any reasons, they are valid too ! It works both ways !

I know it is quite the naive point of view (Especially when there is so much other problems in the world), and people are often fighting for their ship and stuff, but I do believe there is no use into being rude with another person just because they don’t share the same point of view as long as it is morally okay. And I talk not only for ships. We only have one life, why wasting some days of it for like opinions about fictional relationships or even how bad or good was that show you watched the other day ?

As long as you are happy, that’s all that matters. Just be chill and nice to each other, so you can be happy together <3

I’ve been thinking about Ariane lately, who, if you didn’t know, is Ulysse’s mother and I wanted to share a lil’ fact! Or a big one, actually.

If you don’t know, Ulysse (and his brother Achille)’s parents are divorced. His father won custody of his sons and Ariane was only allowed to see her children twice per year! And she only could contact them through letters and sometimes a call (even tho it was rarer), so it was very bad to live with it. At some point, only Ulysse tried to keep contact with his mom, because his brother was led to believe she didn’t like her kids and only wanted the power of having such high-ranked sons yada yada. Ulysse was 7 at the time of the divorce, I wanna add.

But the thing is, after the divorce, Ariane became a streamer who ended up being quite popular. To this day she’s probably something like a Twitch ambassador with over a million viewers on average, I’m not kidding.

And at some point, when Ulysse was using the web browser of his DS console (he didn’t have anything else at the time, his father was paranoid), he found a clip from one of his mom’s streams. And then her Twitch account.

And from now on, he was never missing an opportunity to watch her live, even his the internet was bad asf in his closet (the only place he could get wi-fi without getting caught).

He never told it to his brother because he knew Achille was going to rat him out, but he did tell his mom!

Who panicked because her streams were not family friendly, she sweared every minute and played online shooting games with toxic communities LMAO.

So just for him she toned down the violence/profanity, at least until Ulysse was old enough.

And so, on the two little occasions per year they met, Ulysse brought his DS with over 100k words of notes about what he wanted to say to his mom abt her streams cuz’ he couldn’t comment x,3 Like, ‘On your September 24th livestream, timestamp 1:08:21, you said you loved your kids, so I wanted to tell you I love you so much and I’m sure Achille does too!!’

Anyway, that’s it <3 I have way more things to say but it would be too long to read everything so imma avoid you that x)

I can now proudly say… "The Gentle Prince", aka Bloody Moonster Chapter 19, is officially done!

I may have to reread it once again later this year in case typos avoided my gaze or I become a better writer in the meantime, but the whole thing is finished!

I’m very proud of myself cuz’ that’s the first chapter I finish writing outside of the Prologue, but also one of the most important ones in the novel.

And I mean really important, as the words count may give away-

(Usually a novel’s chapter should be around 4000 words, but I said f*ck it for this one x])

(AND DON’T WORRY THIS CHAPTER IS JUST AN EXCEPTION, I’LL STAY AROUND 5K WORDS FOR A NORMAL CHAPTER)

I’ll be frank, while I DO love any modern evil/cold/killer vampires in fiction I SWEAR I need more Friendly Neighbourhood Vampires.

I know vampires are ‘supposed’ to kill in order to live because they need blood, but honestly? How funny (and harmless) is it to beg like a stray cat at the door of a hospital for some bags of blood-

They’re supposed to be monsters but they’re such amazing beings. They fascinate me, truly.

My novel will be my opportunity to write about my lil’ vampire being a sweetheart and using his vampire powers mundanely.

Yes Ulysse, be lost in thoughts and when you get back to reality you realize you’re walking on the ceiling …..And YES PLEASE turn into a bat to fit in your kangaroo plushie’s pouch <3

Istg I don’t care if GaMing turns to be a 5* (Even if I doubt it because - he was shown at the same time as Xianyun, who I guess might be the 5* of the both of them) I’m gonna PULL FOR HIM.

Not gonna spoil (-the idle leaks-) BUT HE IS MY CHILD AND IM GONNA ADOPT HIM AS SOON AS HE IS RELEASED. OF WHAT I SAW, HE STRIKES IMMEDIATELY IN MY TASTES.

I was saving wishes for a future character BUT I NEED GAMING NOW.
