I am an artist and a jack of all trade! While I specialize in illustration (Certified after 5 years of art school baby 🗣️), I am a writer and 3D sculptor as well! (I do other stuff but I’m less experienced).
I am also the writer of the incoming novel "I’ll Make You Fall In Love, Bloody Moonster", my current project and a parody/rewriting of the cliché-d love triangle stories with supernatural elements (Like Twilight)

I had to do a Pride themed post for June 😌. It’s a small comic, but it took me quite long (way more than I want to assume-), and I hope you’ll like it!

Boy oh boy do I feel old. I still can’t believe it’s been four, yes FOUR, years since I came up with the idea for my novel! It feels like it was only last year since I started it…
So, in four whole years, many things changed — for the better. This post is about these little memories I sometimes cherish, sometimes not!
Oh and the first slide artwork is my main gang but with their first designs ;D.

A week ago, I randomly got the urge to sculpt a lil’ something… And that something ended up being a quick bust of one of my novel’s characters, in that case, Alpin! Damn, two posts about him under a month? I don’t know where that comes from, but I’m not complaining :]
I uhhhh don’t have much else to say, so enjoy!
(If anyone wonders, yes, I take 3D sculpts commissions, and the price for a bust like this starts at 30€ :]. Look at me, shamelessly doing advertising-)

A week ago, I was commissioned to illustrate a flip-phone screen wallpaper. I had creative liberty, as long as I drew the owner’s fursona in such a small format as 240p is :D (For that I went with pixel art!)
The commissioner seemed very satisfied with my work, so yippee 🥹
My stupid brain accidentally drew the character with his armor on at first, so in the end I made two versions, and GOSH the fluffiness is perfect in the second one 🫶

Every year, the ArtFight.net Discord server hosts an art exchange game for a limited amount of participants. And I had the luck to be selected!
My victim was mattmeow on ArtFight, and I was tasked to draw his boy Abel! I did not limit myself on this one, I had an idea and no matter the time it could take I HAD to make it real!
Lyrics in the artwork are from My Farewells to the Fields by Yaelokre, which is in no way the inspiration behind my idea but gosh the moment I saw it in Abel’s character playlist… I had to put it in my illustration. It fitted so well!

Kay and Tea core
Both victims of a system that unfortunately strained their relationship. They can’t be seen friendly together and yet they admire each other’s way of life as much as they hate it.
(Kay just wants to live a loved tv-show-style life like Tea’s, and Tea just wants to be free like Kay is. The thing is, both of their lives are lies based on the misogyny they suffer from daily. Tea is so loved because she tries her best to fit the stereotype of the kind/stupid submissive woman… and Kay is far from free she just stomps on this stereotype fearing to be considered as a woman (to abuse) rather than just Kay, leading to hating being a girl.)
Ourgh… Rereading Bloody Moonster chapter 19 ("The Gentle Prince") once again because I’m starving for Ulysse/Kay content
(This chapter is not happy at all it’s just free emotional damage and the whole angst makes it so GOOD. It’s not made to make you shed a tear - it’s made to make your chest feel a bit too tight - and I love it for that.)
Genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever written.
I’m getting quite insecure about BM lately (Because will my characters be loved? Will it feel good enough for people to read past the first chapters? Will it be mature enough and not feel written by a 14y/o?) but The Gentle Prince is that one chapter that makes me go ‘I’m a good writer, I can pull this off’
It makes me feel like I’m in a trance when I read it, just like what Ulysse goes through: That chapter follows nothing more than a broken man unable to escape a saddening reality. We spend the whole novel seeing Ulysse living in an awake dream of his own making, the reality check was long awaited and gosh it packs a punch.
Yes, the serial yurist I am wasn’t gonna miss such wonderful week 😎
To celebrate the women loving women, everyday I illustrated the lesbian relationships between characters from my novel <3. Not all of them of course, but at least seven for each day of the week!

What a living joke was the White Rabbit, falling in love with his queen. It was doomed from the start, no herald could ever kiss the lips of his highness after all. And the Queen Of Hearts was never known for her kindness, she ordered executions for no more than a white rose in her blood-painted garden, they said.
But the Rabbit loved her. He saw past the rolling heads on the floors of the castle because his eyes were on his Majesty. He was stepping in blood just to kneel before her throne. And if she had asked him, he would have ripped off his heart just for her.
Unfortunately, she got him beheaded before he had the time to do so. Idiot. The queen did not like the way he played the trumpet to announce her arrival, and that was his final mistake.
Now in a new life coated in the memories of past mistakes, the White Rabbit cannot love again. Oh dear, believe me, he did try.
So tell me, Alpin White, past herald of the Queen of Hearts, do you believe the heart in your hand to be even yours anymore?

Who would I be, if I didn’t make a special post for today? Bats are my favorite animals, and they should get some of the love Hollywood took from them!
I had to stop myself from spamming as much funfacts on bats as I could, because otherwise it was going to be a veryyyyy long post x). Just remember, bats are such incredible creatures and should be thanked for everything they do for our planet! They’re not evil in anyway 🦇

Also I'm saying this just in case, but until full release of 'l’ll Make You Fall In Love, Bloody Moonster', everything I might tease or properly explain isn't set in stone! For example, I recently changed certain chapters' names and organization in the story (plus, added two new chapters oof)
It's not like I'm a publising house with a million of followers, so l allow myself to share details even if they're not definitive ^^. And it makes me feel somehow like I'm including you in my writing process :]

OKAY SO,
Bloody Moonster Chapter 3 "The Girl Who Cried Wolf" is done and proofread! Like all chapters of the novel I still might edit them once again before their release but it’ll be minimal ^^
Its name is referencing ‘The Boy Who Cried Wolf’, which is a greek tale about a lying shepherd child whose lies will lead to his doom, if you didn’t know :]
This chapter is focusing on Kay, giving her the opportunity to show herself as more than a bother for Ulysse, and setting her as an important character rather than an random annoyance :D
It’s a pretty lighthearted chapter for most of it (the main group is having a shopping hangout btw :3), ending with erm… Ulysse being a creep about Azenor. Because that’s the plot of the story LOL
I don’t want to stray to far from the plot, but I still wanted to make Ulysse wonders if Azenor truly is a good protagonist. I gave him an opportunity to show how much he does not care about having a life compared to how much he wants to see Azenor’s story.
He’s annoying but that’s needed for character development I guess </3
