he does not haha. i suspect he belonged to someone at some point bc he's super friendly and you can pet/give plenty of scratches very easily, maybe got abandoned/left behind upon moving out (bad). one of these days i'll probably scoop him up and take him to ox's vet to see if he's even chipped and then if not perhaps if i ever move myself i'll just......take him with me by that point.

tbh my feelings about the HBO show are like... if it's just the game's story, what's the point? I mean, I'm excited and I'm gonna watch it but why does it NEED to be a show if it's the exact same story? chances are, the showrunners will probably ask the same question and thus wanna change a few things! sure, it gives a wider audience a chance to see it but like... why?

Hey!! So, I have a friend who is interested in getting into witchy stuff, potentially including stuff regarding Persephone. She feels a little overwhelmed by all the knowledge out there and doesn’t know where to start though. Are there any tips/books/ideas/literally whatever to pass along? I already gave her several of your tags to peruse (witchy, Persephone, and tarot) to start but anything helps I think!

Honestly it’s been a hot minute since I’ve actively practiced anything. I started out with finding information on tumblr and I have to say one of the most important things is to keep a notebook/grimoire/whatever you’d like to call it. There is SO much information out there as you’ve said. Also since your friend already knows they want to possibly work with Persephone in some capacity, looking to follow Hellenistic blogs may be of some interest to them. 

There’s no rush to dive right into practicing. Books can be a tricky affair because I would call some of them...less than reputable. If anyone has any books recs though, please feel free to comment!

If looking to start with tarot just get a basic Rider Waite deck at first. There’s so many pretty decks out there, but starting with that is going to help build a foundation. Some people like to keep what’s called “tarot journals” and each day pull a card to study. Write down how it makes you feel/if it invokes any emotions, some people like to redraw it, and then look up the actual meanings and associations of it. Tarot may seem like a lot to get into but going by it piece by piece is so much easier. Doing a daily draw too to start your day off is just always nice too :)
