Lost in Mementos

If there was one thing she had heard about the situation in Tokyo, was that there was a way to head into Shadow territory without the need for anything else than installing an app into her operative system. Sure, working on an outdated OS to try and install a phone app was difficult, but nothing a small update couldn’t fix, and now...

She was lost in this strange dark place. Shadows seemed to be lurking around, but she was never seen as a threat, some actually approached her for a minute, almost like she wasn’t there at all. Strange, she thought. Shadows here are much friendly, even though I am a weapon.

Could it be they are harmless? After all, they couldn’t go outside, they only lived in the subconscious... Perhaps this was a lost case, after all, but now she was unsure how to head back. She had no signal to access some sort of GPS.

She raised both of her hands to her mouth and spoke. “Hello?” Her voice echoed across the halls. “Is anyone there? I seem to be lost!” And yet, she wasn’t scared... for some reason.

“I do question though...How is it that when I try asking you to go to bed you sass me, but when Morgana does it you do it in a heartbeat?”

A very troubling question for Miho to have.

Yet it’s a problem she’s always had with her son since he was young. He was always dodging and avoiding her when she tried making him go to bed early. Yet her ‘not cat’ child only said, “You should sleep,” and her real human son complied so...So easily.

Was her parenting tactics...That weak?

  Usagi looked to the male, her blue eyes glittered with worry as she looked to the male. Moving closer to the male, she looked around the room before sighing.

  “What happened, Akira?” her voice was soft as she had bent down to gather a few things that were on the ground. “You…aren’t always like this, unless that Shido guy pisses you off.” The moon bunny smiled warmly, trying to make sure that her own worry was hiding behind the smile.

Black Coffee

Days went by as the date arrived for her to say goodbye, not to the school year or paperwork (Honestly, did it ever stop?), but to a certain friend of hers. He hadn’t been attending school, mostly out of how... strange it would be to start a new year knowing you wouldn’t finish it. Kawakami understood this, and yet, seeing the empty desk in front of Takamaki...

She sorta felt... nostalgic.

On a completely different time, though, when school was long finished and everyone had either gone home or gone out, a certain lady approached the door she had already seen so much, but never with the “Open” sign in front of it. It was Léblanc, “the white”, if she remembered correctly.

And yet, as nostalgic as it felt, she entered the place with a happy step and seated herself in the front counter. It seemed the young boy behind the counter hadn’t seen her yet, so she waited until he turned around and spoke. “I’d like a cup of coffee, house blend, I think?” Even if it had been some months since she last did The Becky voice, she still had it down.

“I have to wonder how you’ve managed to hide your identity from people around you this well, Kurusu-san. It mustn’t have been easy, considering you have that false crime record and go to Shujin High: my colleague keeps on talking how students at that place are suspicious.” She leaned to the wall while spinning her emptied handgun. Naoto had found some combinations for the app and she’d appeared to her currently favored cafe to sneak the information in. Why not spark some conversation on the topic she was intrigued in?

“Man, what’s with all the pumpkin flavored stuff this time of year...? I’ve even heard of coffees that taste like pumpkin!” He groaned, frowning, before an amusing thought suddenly came to him.

“Do you think Boss would ever start serving those...?” He suggested, jokingly elbowing the other male.

It was shortly after Akina made a pact with her Persona Arachne and she was still shaken by what she saw when she visited that strange place. She was nearly buried alive and she found that her thoughts were constantly wandering towards what she saw. Her mind was so distracted that she found herself making spider webs on the corners of a music sheet she had with her on her glass counter. It wasn’t until she heard the soft bell by the door chime, little her know that someone was in. Shoving her paper to the side, she waved at the customer.

“H-hey there..Welcome to the Broom Closet. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.”

Why...Why would the leader of a group as famous-or infamous-as them needed to talk to her. To talk to her about her son?

The woman manages to stand her ground and stay in place as the boy, Joker he called himself, stepped closer to her.

“Why...Why would you want to talk about Goro?” Her face turns pale before she steps forward, “Wait...You’re not thinking of hurting him are you?! Don’t!”
