Two Ways to Get Involved for World Fair Trade Day
World Fair Trade Day will happen on May 10, 2014, though there are events planned all around the world from May 3 – 18.
According to the World Fair Trade Resource Network, around 100,000 people will attend nearly 1,000 events around the U.S. and Canada alone to celebrate World Fair Trade Day. The goal is to promote fair trade and campaign for trade justice with farmers, workers and artisans.
Because I am a huge fan of buying fair trade as a way to shop with a conscience, I thought I would share two specific ways to get involved for World Fair Trade Day.
