This is such a topical question bc THEY ARE SOULMATES;)

Considering he probably first heard of her by name in the big massacre report or subsequent mordrem general sightings reports:

But more serious talk is that pre-nightmare court iashmaere would definitely get flustered and excited at the idea of being destined to be with someone like rhiannin. I can see him trying his best to impress and get to know her more which was exactly what he tried to do with caerith

Post nightmare court the idea of there being someone special for him would seem laughable to him:( He would roll his eyes at whoever said that to him and didn't do anything about it. But maybe....think about it at night sometimes. If the events of HoT didn't happen he would try to find her after several years to truly know if it was bullshit or no. But as it stands he doesn't believe in soulmates or love at first sight and such.

7. What would their lives be like if they had never met?

Iasha wasn't doing very well at the point of their meeting so he would either continue his mordrem hunting till he died or got brought back to the Whispers base. His mentor Teala would probably get him out of trouble and keep an eye on him and he would continue to work under her having occasional flings with people who are attracted to men who need therapy kskdjhfsdj

I imagine it would probably be close to what the game actually goes like. Picking either Ranni's and becoming her trophy husband long distance consort or Fia's ending. I haven't finished the game on him still so idk which one for sure🤔
