Joltik snuggling in joltik socks
Was re-reading @leggerefiore 's Joltik.ima about joltik sleeping in Reader's socks and saw the opportunity to do it. Emmet would so fangirl over sleeping joltiks just like the .imas!

I forgive the oracle for they are baby that deserves a smooch on the head for working so hard.
They foresee the future, but at great cost. Give them a twenty pack of AA batteries.
Emmet needs a Joltik room if he doesn’t have one already. A room just for the Joltiks that’s full of toys, pillows, and all the things that they need to be happy, healthy, and comfortable. Ingo also needs Emmet to have a Joltik room. He went to put his shoes on one day and got a nasty shock from the Joltik sleeping inside.
Omg...
It's like a cat room for the Joltiks... Little enrichment toys and sets for them to get around and play with. Cosy areas for them to build webs to nap on, and, of course, beds to go around. Emmet has crochet covers made for the pillows since he feels they look reminiscent of webs. The Joltiks love them.
The sets he had made are mock places all over. A train station is a given. The actual car of a subway train is another. An old-timey passenger train car. A Joltik apartment... A little Chargestone Cave. Elesa's Gym. An amusement park. The Joltiks have a variety of sets to explore. Emmet adores watching them.
He also makes sure there are various batteries hidden around for the Joltiks to find and snack on. Food is usually set in a specific corner of the room. (Occasionally, they topple over the bowl. Emmet sighs.)
Oh, and he lays down in the middle of the room. Happy screeches are heard before a horde of spiders covers him. He is in heaven.
Emmet spams his daughters’ phones with calls, texts, and videos of him and the Joltiks when Emma and Inka are at Blueberry Academy. It is… not as cute as Ingo’s Skitty pictures. But it’s the thought that counts.
The Joltiks are just as cute...
Many pictures of the Joltiks claiming the girls' beds while they are away. Emmet captions it as: "They miss you two :(((". A Joltik is particularly seen wearing a small bow and splooting on Emma's pillow. She opted to leave her gifted one from Emmet behind while she studied. It misses her greatly.
Another picture is a Joltik hiding in what is clearly one of the girls' sock it sneaked out of a drawer. It looks pitiful. Emmet claims he cannot remove it since it puffs up and hisses. New sock home.
On a call, Emma's Joltik accidentally drains the phone's battery since it was so desperate to see her again. She is coming to collect it next break.
A video of some Joltiks floating in the bathtub amongst bubbles and steam is a particular favourite of Emma. She misses a bathtub. The dorm shower is not the same. Inka laughs at one who has a suds hat. It seems so serious.
Emmet also sends a picture of two Joltiks dressed like the girls. He had some outfits commissioned. The fancily dressed Joltik is clearly Emma's own, but the one in the beanie and tank top is just a random, feisty Joltik Emmet picked out. He claims it looks like her. Inka is offended.
