The trip to the tiny village of Puerto Río Tranquilo felt like it was a journey to 'the end of the earth'. The idea to venture to this remote destination and try deep water soloing on the stunning features of the Marble Caves was Sam Biè’s. It all began from an image he saw posted on Facebook. Beautiful pastel-coloured marble caves above a crystal clear lake, never touched by climbers.
