I have a head canon that Jonathan would love physical contact. Not with just anybody! But if he cared about someone and knew without a doubt they cared for him back and something got him to start touching them, he'd never want to stop. Imagine tho This fuckin dork just constantly keeping his hand on Sock's arm or leg or just /anywhere/ as long as they were touching
I think Jonathan's parents own&operate a pancake house, like "Fillmore Combs Flapjack Shack" and his dad is an ex-clown and feels like he needs to make Jon smile and tries to by making funny shaped pancakes and trying to balance things on his head and nose, then Jon's mom is always like, "Honey, braking your nose isn't gonna make him smile." And of course Sock would think Jon's dad is the best
