We keep saying the name The Admiral is something Jon probably came up with because we compare him to Jonny and his... creative cat naming system. Which means Jon's fic cats are always called something like Lieutenant or Duchess or Captain etc.

But I propose that it was Georgie who named The Admiral (he's her cat after all) and if it was up to Jonathan 'Hidden Soft As Butter Soul But No Poetic Imagination' Sims he'd probably name his cats names along the lines of Fluffball, Cookie, Fuzzy, Cuddles, Crumble and Paws.

So after observing this fandom for quite a bit and based on many posts and much art I've come to the correct conclusion that we're all in an agreement that the only way for Jon to ever get his much needed sleep is when there's a cat in his immediate vicinity
