This is from http://www.makinggameofthrones.com so it’s legit info. This smashes all the nonsensical theories concerning Jon’s parentage. It clearly points out to Lyanna and Raeghar. Not Robert, not Aerys, not Ashara, not Cersei etc.

This sums up what we already know at this point in the show. Notice that the word ‘abducted’ is there and that’s because we heard it for the first time from Robert in season 1 . There is also no marriage line between Rhaegar and Lyanna. This could be because we are yet to see it in Bran’s flashbacks or that Meera’s father will disclose this info. I tend to believe it will be through Bran because it’s easier this way. It could be in a sequence of fast flashbacks like we got this season.

I feel so late to the party, after 6 seasons and 5 books I’m only just NOW questioning the parentage of Jon Snow ._.

Well, after listening to some theories from my dear khaleesi I believe that it's possible Jon's parents are Rhaegar Targayren and Lyanna Stark, so not Ned's bastard but rather more like the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. I wonder what's going to happen if that's the case since Dany is merciless and I want none of them dead, thank you very much. Oh god, it's going to end in disaster... This show will break me.

about jon's parents, I think Ned wanted to tell Jon in the end of the 1st book.

I believe that jon is the son of Lyanna and Rheagar, which makes him inherit the Iron Throne.

one of the reasons why i think that:

Eddard asks Varys if he would deliver a letter, and maybe it was meant for Jon but Mormont read it thats why he was looking at Jon like that.

Jon Snow parents track. R+L=J confirmation!?

On an Alfie Allen (Theon) interview:

What did you ask him (George Martin) about in return? You know, I asked him about who Jon Snow's real parents were, and he told me. I can't say who, but I can tell you that it involves a bit of a Luke Skywalker situation. It will all come to fruition eventually. The whole thing with all the fight over proper succession is partly inspired by the War of the Roses in the late 1400s, and back then, to ensure pedigree, the monarchies were kind of inbred. It's definitely fucked up, but it definitely happened back then, so that's why there's incest with the Targaryen line. It's toned down, though.

Lyanna (Padme Amidala) dying giving birth to her child Jon (Luke).

Jon (Luke) being raised hiding by family, his aunt Ned (Uncle Owen), and also hiding his true parentage to keep him safe (like Luke).

Besides Jon = Luke, other cool similarities.

Then change the topic and talks about the Targaryens. Jon's daddy being a Targy for sure. :)

Jon (Luke) thinking in his father more as an enemy. It's supoosed Rhaegar kidnapped and raped (LOL NO) Lyanna, (Luke thought DV killed his dad).

So, this tend to confirm Ned is DEFINITELY not his dad (OBVIOUS) Plus he asked George who Jon's Snow parents are, not his mother. To me is canon Lyanna was Jon's mother, and about his dad... 

Rhaegar = Anakin

Aerys = The Emperor

Howland = Yoda...?

The theory fits greatly anyway.

Of course it's not gonna be as simple as that: it's gonna have a dark, twisted and sad (even more) background on it, and I'm OK with it. XD
