Mike gave Jonah a skateboard for Christmas and he's been practicing non stop since. He's getting pretty good at the basics and often chooses skateboarding when we go on walks or bike rides as a family. His favorite thing in the world is going to skateparks. Mike got a skateboard too and is trying to brush up on his mad teenage skater skills. Jonah is so proud to skate with his dad and learn from him. It's so sweet that it's an activity that they can do together.
Jonah started taking online piano lessons several months ago and we are so proud of his progress!
This guy is working hard on his forms for Tae Kwon Do. He started a month ago and he can't wait to earn each of his 3 stripes on his white belt and then eventually earn his yellow belt. We are grateful for the physical discipline and respect he is already learning from his teachers and fellow students.
Jonah and I went to a water park this month for our date. We went last summer too and we decided it should be our date tradition every summer. This was his first time to try an enclosed water slide. It was pitch black inside. He was so brave and wanted to ride it over and over again. We also floated on a lazy river many times. We had a blast!
This boy. I couldn’t be more proud of him. He has learned so much this past year. It’s hard to believe he will be starting 1st grade in just 6 weeks!

He has been working at this for a long time and just got it down last week. He couldn't be more excited to show everyone and anyone who will watch his newly learned skill. He'd play on the monkey bars day and night if we or his hand blisters would let him.
