Even though fall just started in San Myshuno, it still felt like summer. It’s already a hot morning but Aarick doesn’t care because he doesn’t have to wake up early to go to work. Today was Aarick’s birthday and he requested the day off. All he wanted to do today was relax but he didn’t realize that somebody made other plans for you.

“Happy birthday to you!” His wife Lyannie and best friend Jonas sang very loudly. “Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Aarick! Happy birthday to you!”

Aarick rubbed his eyes. “Really guys?” He looked up and saw them standing there with a cake.

“Come old man, I got the whole day planned. I got us a tee time at the golf course and Suri got  us a table at this fancy restaurant.” Jonas smiled.

Aarick chuckled. “So you planned my whole day today? How did you know that I didn’t have anything planned?”

“Lyannie told me you didn’t.” Jonas answered with a smile on his face.

Aarick got up and put him in a loving headlock. “Well I appreciate it buddy.”

Lyannie giggled. “Well you guys should get going then.”

“Okay. Let me go ahead and get dressed. I’ll see you at dinner?” Aarick asked Lyannie.

“I wouldn’t miss it!” Lyannie said before Aarick kissed her on the cheek.
