don’t ask me why i’m listening to kyrgyz pop music instead of doing homework but it’s too late to turn back now

you know what’s surreal? hearing your own voice from when you were 5 years old.

i found the cassette tape my kindergarten teacher made of an interview she did with every student and holy crap is it weird hearing my voice from when i was a kid

it’s so far back that i still had the deaf accent i’d picked up from my mom and that outrageous lisp i still fight sometimes. wow.

Me: *makes a "come here" wave at cat*

Sylvia: *immediately begins walking towards me*

Me: OH MY GOD. I AM A CATBENDER.

We had indoor lunch today

Rain: *is raining really hard*

Me: Okay class, Finding Nemo won the vote, so we'll be watching that!

First Grader: Is it because we're basically underwater right now?

alone on new year’s for the second year in a row

mom’s absence isn’t weird cause she’s usually out with a friend but grandma’s absence is profound

went to emily’s house today and her cat greeted me by climbing and purring and cuddling and nose booping me (with his own nose!) for like 10 minutes straight

and then right before i left he went and did the same thing, like he knew i was leaving

AAAAAAAH HE’S SUCH A CUTE CAT!!!
