111. Work: my work personally? I work at a library and i enjoy it. it’s easy and fun, i’m really glad they offered me a job there.

Oh I know craft stores in and out. It just annoys me that all the stores I’ve been to never mark all of their sale items. I know about the student discount - used it a lot when I was at Uni but c’est la vie. Now I’m adult and must pay the price.

That's so weird; our store is ANAL about our signage being right. We're a district store, though, so that may have something to do with it? Is it a large or small format store? I've noticed the littler JoAnns tend to be run a bit more, er, casually.

and yeah, no one told me about the discount when I was a student... dammit.

Yeah, that can be annoying. Although depending on what type of coupons you get, you can get more. I've seen 50% and even a legendary 60% once a year, around Founder's Day.

However, I DO get your struggle that it's only little bits off. (They SHOULD all be marked though. While not on the bolt itself it should be on the display. Dunno what's up with that.)

If you get the booklet coupons, it'll warn you when things are on sale. (Especially a good sale- or a dumb one like $1 off) So you can plan accordingly and tackle it when it's not on sale and attack it with coupons, or wait till it's on a healthy enough sale to not matter.

We also get coupons occasionally that are 15% off your entire purchase, which includes sale items. So it'd be whatever it is off (say 40%) and then an additional 15%, which can make a difference!

And! If you're a student, I believe you get 10-15% off everything everyday, so long as you have an ID.

Also, there ARE things that never go on sale. THESE THINGS USUALLY ARE: Duipioni Silks, Bridal Collections, Spray Paint, Fabric Paint, Fine Art Supplies, There's actually a whole bunch that never goes, so you can always use a coupon. I work in Fabrics, so I only really notice the fabrics. But the sales do rotate, so wait to catch one off-sale so you can use a coupon.

Need to call my old therapist, but she's closed til monday. if it gets really bad over the weekend i'll probably go to the hospital but i'd rather not so i'm hoping to hold out til monday. obviously if it gets really bad i just have to check myself in but i'd really really rather not.
