sup joners
after the release of Dracula there has been a huge influx of joners around the world, so welcome new joners and hi to my pre-drac joners. Haven’t updated this thang in forever(busy w uni classes, forget that tumblr is a thing etc). An update that Harvest is available to stream on mubi now!!! I was a little sad it didn’t get a theatrical US release outside of film festivals but I’m glad I went to one to see it on the big screen. But go watch it! Defo recommend.
Dracula gets its official US theatrical release in February 2026 which is awesome. Had to travel a 12 hour round trip to see dogman in theaters!(I did get to meet Caleb as well so it was worth it). While there is a camrip that has been available for a while, I resisted temptation and only skimmed Dracula for now. I want the theatre experience for this one. I’ve heard mixed reviews, but a lot of thirsting for Caleb and blossoming joners, so I think I’ll enjoy it. I don’t like Besson and his style, but Caleb always kills it so it doesn’t matter.
There has been news that Caleb will be busy in the future in Brazil filming Zero K with the gorgeous Andrea Riseborough(who was Alice in The kindness of Strangers) and Peter sarsgaard. I haven’t read the book yet but seems like it will be cool! Glad he is able to keep busy along with taking care of the baby(who is almost a year old now🥹!!)
Down the Arm of God seems to still be in progress, we are getting close to a year since filming, and it seems like Peter Brunner has been working hard on editing. Caleb is also sitting on an unreleased tour doc from when he was playing shows a while back. Have no idea when that will be out, last I remember he said “soon”(but that may have been 6 months ago…). Either way, I hope Caleb, Katya, and the baby are enjoying the fall and I hope yall can forgive me for only hopping on here once in a blue moon.
