I don’t think I’ve met a pair of biker boots that I didn’t love wearing. There is something about this style of boots that I just adore. You can wear them slouchy over a pair of ripped jeans, smarten them up with a knitted dress, or basically, toughen up any look you want to wear, in the summer I’m obsessed with wearing biker boots with floaty maxi dresses. I can’t think of many looks that a great pair of biker boots wouldn’t work well with.
Biker boots, for me, transcend seasons, I love that about them as it means you can invest in them, and find a comfortable pair that will last the amount of wear, trust me, when you’ve found a great pair you will want to wear them all the time, they are a great zip-on-and-go style. What I would suggest when you are looking for the perfect pair is to look to invest in a great leather pair, ones that don’t have too high a heel, the flatter the better I think as then you can wear them all the time, and try to look for a pair without too much going on.
That’s why I’m in love with these beauties I found in the sale at Jones Bootmaker, not a footwear shop I normally look at but my husband swears by their brogues as having the best leather that lasts, and that’s when I saw these. They are a little smarter than my other pairs of biker boots, which is how I justified that I needed another pair, but they are the most comfortable pair that I now own and I think I have worn them non-stop nearly for the past month, so expect to see them a lot of the next coming months. I just love how simple the design is, it means that they go well with most looks, and as well as being comfortable they are super warm, which has been needed the past couple of days.

Introducing Mo&Co
Also, I have to share with you the fabulous contemporary fashion brand Mo&Co that I recently discovered at Selfridges, I’m wearing their Space Odyssey sweatshirt and I’m obsessed with its geek-chic vibe. I had to look this brand up after I bought this sweatshirt as I was so impressed with the quality of the product, it is dreamy to wear, and I do love a bold print on a sweatshirt. The brand doesn’t just do quirky, actually, for the most part, its collections are modern with a minimalist edge, mixed in with bold prints, edgy cuts, and a fun mix-and-match style. If you are after a co-ordinated look this is a great brand to check out. My only criticism would have to be that they do come up small, I’m in a large here and I would normally have picked up a medium. But if you are after adding a cool piece to your wardrobe that has a boy-girl chic aesthetic then you really must check it out. I’ve added some of my current favourite pieces below, but if you are off to Selfridges do keep an eye out for it.
