JonGerry Week Day 2: Historical | Reunion | Solace

Something a little simpler for today! No set story behind it, just liked the idea of Jon cuddling up to Gerry while he recovers from something, or maybe before going in for a surgery/treatment.

First day of @jongerryweek! Prompts I used are Somewhere Else and Kindness.

The knife goes in. The tower falls. When Jon opens his eyes, he is sitting in the uncomfortable chair in front of Elias Bouchard's desk, signing his employment contract as the Magnus Institute's newest researcher.

He is alone in his memories of the future; his old friends might as well be worlds away. He demonstrably does not do well alone.

Luckily, in the year 2011, he has options.

Hello and welcome to Jongerry Week!

This is a week to appreciate the ship of Gerard “Gerry” Keay and Jonathan “Jon” Sims. There is a wonderful wealth of ships in the TMA fandom, this week was created in an effort to shine a light on these two.

The event is being held September 25th-October 1st, 2022

This event is being organized by @who-needs-words. Although I prefer if any questions or suggestions are directed to the blog for the event for the sake of organization , I am more than willing to answer on my main.

JonGerry Week day 3: Escape/Confession

God, I feel like that by the time I get my thing posted, people are already posting the next day. Oh well, that's what I get for updating at 10 pm my time

Here's day 3 of @jongerryweek escape/Confession

Jon gets a concerning text from Eric and goes to make sure Gerry is okay. Wherein Gerry attempts to get a confession from Mary, and then one from Eric, as well as Jon takes them on a weekend escape.

JonGerry Week Day 7: Alternate Universe | Promise | Choices

Coming in just under the wire for the last day! I went with something inspired by @pitviperofdoom ‘s shapeshifters au (with selkie!Jon and swan shifter!Gerry), and the idea of ‘where the sea meets the sky’.

JonGerry Week Day 1: Somewhere Else | Kindness | Ghost

Coming in a lil late today, but here's my first piece for this week! Inspired by the fic 'There Are Monsters In These Woods' by DoilySpider on ao3, a fantasy AU in which Jon is tricked into becoming a Mage's moth familiar, and Gerry is trapped in a magic mirror and can only offer the comfort of company. A lot of their relationship in this fic is centered around the fact that the care and kindness they share with each other is what keeps them from losing themselves in the worst of the horror show their lives have become.
