Hi, everyone! We apologize for the lack of activity on the main recently. Both admins have been busy IRL with work and travel, and we apologize for our negligence! With this said though, I'm also here to make a big announcement.

Effective May 6th, 2024, JongnoRP will be undergoing a restructure! When I first created this roleplay, I wanted it to be a rather "bare-bones" and character-driven space; one with a relaxed nature. However, I realize that this is an experience that doesn't work for everyone and we've become too relaxed. Both admins (with additional help from individuals to be introduced later) will be hard at work transitioning JongnoRP into a more interactive roleplay with much more detail, lore, and world-building, in general.

We hope you stay with us while we patch things up around here, and we'll be providing updates along the way to let you in on the progress! However, if you'd like to drop any muses, we totally understand! If you plan to keep tabs on us, please interact with this post somehow and we'll follow-up with you regarding muses in due time.

For now, it's our goal to get everything prepared for a launch in roughly three to five weeks, but more specific dates will announced at a later time.

Hi, everyone! Admin 🍑 here to say hi and wish everyone well! Our team has been busy with work OOC, but will begin working on updating our blog and drafting up something exciting to be announced this weekend! As we’re now two weeks into being open, we’re clarifying our activity rules just a little more. Interest checks and removals will still be conducted roughly biweekly, however, we will be doing interest checks every 15th of the month, and removals on the 1st of the month. While this isn’t exactly two weeks either side, we’d like to see how this version of activity checking works for everyone. Of course, if members prefer it’s kept to the same weekday every two weeks after trying this out for a month or two, we will consider changing it.

This means that we will be officially counting activity starting from today, April 1st, and our first interest check will be on April 15th. As stated in our rules, interest checks will consist of your muse(s) being added to our interest check announcement post, and you will receive a direct message from the main to see if we can do anything to support you in being more active. If we do not hear back from you, and you don’t post any starters or replies before the end of the month, your muse(s) will be removed from the roleplay.

We understand that there are drawbacks to such lax activity requirements, but our aim here is to facilitate a space that’s accommodating towards people with inevitably busy schedules and other responsibilities. We're all adults here, and we understand that sometimes there is little time or energy left at the end of a hard work day, and we don’t want to make writing in our space feel like a chore.

Our rules will be updated accordingly to reflect this slight alteration, however the essence of our activity requirements is staying largely the same! Thank you to all who read this, and to all who are here with us as we start rolling out everything we have planned for JONGNORP! We appreciate you so much!

Hello, everyone! First of all, thank you so much for being so patient with us while we navigated our opening. With the main blog being flagged and the admins' personal schedules becoming busier than expected, it was a bit of a rocky start, but we're happy to say that we're feeling inspired, refreshed, and ready to properly kick things off! With that said, please look forward to some exciting news to be unveiled tomorrow, April 1st! We won't be celebrating April Fools' Day, so please note that everything we announce will be legitimate. 😆 Until then, thank you once again for everything so far! We're very much still a growing community, but we're so happy that you're all here! 🥰

Hello, everyone! Good news! Tumblr responded to our emails and let us know that our main blog should be up-and-running again! So, all askbox and IM functions are back to normal, phew! Secondly, our next round of acceptances will take place this Saturday, March 23rd, at 3pm MST (5pm EST)! By then, we should also have a proper schedule for regular acceptances, bi-weekly interest checks, and monthly removals solidified, so more info will come then. Thank you all for a great opening week so far! We're all still getting settled in, but it's been so fun to chat with all of you! 🥰

Hi all, just a little heads up to let you all know the main is having a few technical difficulties at the moment (our inbox may have been restricted), but we've contacted support, so hopefully they'll get back to us asap! If it seems we haven't seen something you've submitted or asked, please send us an IM! We're still able to see things in the inbox on the mobile app, but we don't want anything to slip through the cracks.

In better news, we've got an exciting announcement coming this weekend, so please keep your eyes peeled for that. Us admins are finally starting to get our muses' blogs up-and-running, so you'll see how interacting with everyone soon, too! 🥰
