Serious talk! Do you think Jonghyun might be bisexual? Me and one of my bisexual friends are 99.8% certain of it but I'm wondering if anyone else gets those vibes (that said I should also include a little disclaimer here: I don't care either way and this is all theoretical fan talk that should stay within the fandom)

haha well idk why this talk has to be “serious” or stay within the fandom...theorizing about his sexuality is essentially the same as theorizing what his favorite ice cream flavor is... all we can do is guess and every opinion is just as valid as any other one

much of the fandom, i’d say, is beginning to also think that jonghyun isn’t mr. straight. i follow /a lot/ of people here and also on twitter who believe that jonghyun is gay, bi, genderqueer... thousands of things. i think a lot of it has to do with blue night tbh... it’s a break from his hyper-masculine image that was pushed onto him by sm, where he can speak, and has spoken, rather openly about being feminine and avoiding certain masculine images and what not.

in my personal opinion, i think jonghyun is just plain ol’ gay. he seems to show much more interest in men than women, if you pay attention to him on blue night and whenever he’s asked about celebrities he’s interested in. he just talks about men much more, is a lot faster in complimenting them or just simply pays more attention to them--like on music bank during recently, both times he was interviewed by the MCs his eyes were on park bogum 90% of the time, rather than irene. and of course there’s the crop top pics, which should be cherished until the end of time.

i wouldn’t say golden bomber are really popular b/c... they are visual kei lmao. but i would say they probably have a good degree of public recognizability, since they did perform at the red and white festival in 2014, which is an annual thing every new year’s eve that is pretty popular... but i’m not really much of an expert on golden bomber haha

i was just so surprised because i love golden bomber and the idea that little nerd obsessing over taemin is in this band... amazing. hahahha. love ittttttttt.

ok so far four women filed a lawsuit - the first one was an unpaid prostitute (he allegedly forced sex on her and didn't pay) the second one was just a bar girl but most of them were tenpro (the top 10% of sex workers in Korea - the exclusive types that hang out with wealthy men) they found men DNA on the first victim's underwear but they still have to determinate whether it is his DNA or not (tho tbh he didn't deny that he had sex with them - only the rape part) x

I think netizenbuzz is the best site to follow his scandal as I haven't seen any defensive comments from brainless fan girls yet and everyone is being very mature about it (and on that note avoid allkpop like a flea epidemic) xp

well i wouldn’t say /everyone/ on netizenbuzz is being mature about it lmao but that’s where i’ve been reading up on it too. guess i missed an article tho b/c i hadn’t heard about any of the specifics behind the filings/cases of any of the girls aside from the first.

but yah if anyone is curious ‘bout the details... also thanks lmao i didn’t know some of this too.

and avoiding allkpop is just a good rule for life in general, i’ve found. ><

I am a huge feminist but tbh we need to remember that he is technically innocent until proven guilty... for rape. The fact that he likes prostitutes and bathrooms is pretty much confirmed anyway and that in itself is problematic but it isn't rape yet (we'll have to wait for the verdict for that to be confirmed). I doubt he'll be able to pay off the prosecutors in this situation as the police even created a special unit to investigate the charges so fingers crossed! Korea, please don't fuck up!

This is true. We still don’t know exactly what happened and we’ll have to wait for more details because this case just gets more and more confusing as time goes on, but the fact that he is being accused of rape isn’t “problematic.” It’s a very serious accusation that the fandom needs to be making more gravely, and using a word like “problematic,” a word that we use rather jokingly, is dismissive of the situation and the weight of the accusations being brought against him.
