Sulli sat on top of her bed in the middle of the night. Her roommate was gone so she was alone for the night. The healer couldn’t stand the dark so the dorm was currently illuminated by a hue of purple from her color changing lights. She couldn’t sleep, its been like this for the past couple of nights and she didn’t know why. Maybe excitement of returning to the academy or maybe she was feeling homesick, but that place wasn’t home and she knew that much. 

Sulli glanced over her nightstand and spotted her laptop sitting on her nightstand, A couple of episodes of Friends should do the trick. Her English was getting better because of the show, she loved it so much she would watch it over and over. Leaning over she grabbed the computer and booted it up. After turning it on she thought about maybe checking some emails first, its been awhile she thought to herself. Just as she booted up the internet the icon of a colorful camera caught her eye. Its been months since she got on to instagram and even longer since she got on cam. 

With a soft shrug of her shoulders she clicked on the icon, seconds later up popped up her feed popped up with all of the healers pictures and videos. Sulli wasn’t going to lie, she did miss the attention she got from her suggestive pictures and live videos she would do every week. 

Going to her inbox she saw over a hundred unread messages, most of them asking where she was, others were nsfw which she chose not to open. At that moment she decided to post a quick update so her ‘fans’ knew what she was up to. Of course they didn’t care about her she knew that but it still felt amazing getting the attention from men and women alike. 

After choosing a picture she took earlier that week she wrote a quick caption and hit post. Sulli couldn’t get back into this life style, something she did so she wouldn’t feel lonely only made her feel worst. The likes and comments she got moments later had her remembering why she did like it so much.

A glimpse of Freedom // Jongxin-ia

He feels like he’s not really alive, that if he were to move, to get up it would all be taken from him and he’d be trapped once again. It’s been a few minutes of lying in his bed, or Marrok’s bed really, it’s taken him that long to come down from the suffocating feeling. From being force pushed back into his body. He knows what time of the month it is, he knows this routine well. Get pushed back in just in time for his body to start splitting in half for the wolf to appear. 

He moves his head to the side, catching the clock. He’s more than shocked, not that his face would portray it. He has time. an hour at the least before things start progressing. Why? Marrok isn’t a kind being, there’s a reason for this, not that he’ll find out but it’s time he can use. He knows he hasn’t got long left, if he can use this now just to help at least get Kai closure, he’ll use it and take it.  Luhan reaches into his pants pockets, god it doesn’t even feel like his body anymore. He dials the number, hoping he hasn’t changed it. It rings, at least he has that. 

The ringing ceases, and he knows someone has picked up. 

“Kai.” He murmurs, god he hopes it’s him.

He was technically supposed to be attending a sword fighting lesson but then again he was actually sick this time, a migraine which wasn’t all that new at this point. Instead with sunnies still on he followed Kai around at the Casino, he had taken plenty of pills and he may have pulled the truth a little in saying it was easing. So he didn’t want to just stay locked up in Kai’s office or get him worried further, after all he’d had his fair share of migraines these past few weeks. 

So he worked, sort of. At that current moment Kai was in the middle of telling this lovely patron to get their cheating ass up and out of the seat of the black jack table. Most people kept to the rules but there was always someone trying to sneak a fast one on the establishment, today they just weren’t that lucky. 

He had been offering his support, he’d step in if Kai asked him not that his mind was on that at that very moment. Instead he had his back turned, eyes clenched as suddenly a wave of release. With a few quick blinks, he turned back towards the voices.

Eyes concealed by dark lenses, they moved around the room darting from the faces to the many tables and then back to Kai. A familiar scent indeed.

“I could sleep next to you if you want.”

“I usually..don’t thrash in my sleep like that..or talk...or” None of that was quite true. Glancing at him over the rim of the glass of water he’d handed to her, Jieun pressed her lips together swishing the liquid in her mouth the gather her thoughts. When they’d gotten together to work on some employee paper work for the casino she hadn’t planned to fall asleep, she definitely hadn’t planned to wake up three steps from a hysterical scream to his wide eyes on her face and his hands worriedly petting her hair. It was for moments like this that she had been avoiding sleep and living on any substances that included caffeine.

His invitation was so sweet and really he’d been so kind about everything if not a bit flustered probably wondering if she might have knifed him in her nightmareish despair; lucky for him she’d left the knives at home today. 

“It’s okay, I’m not tired and sleep is for the weak. We have work to do.”

Winter had come with a dramatic entrance filled with a snowstorm and drastic drop in temperature. They were just two strangers losing tracks in the beautifully covered with white snow village named Vighulir. After bumping into each other, Tom just couldn’t resist from buying some ingredients to bake some cookies, the imaginary friend offered the good-looking man to join him for a cup of hot tea. After giving his newly made acquaintance some fresh and dry clothes to change, the tall man poured the boiled water into an elegant teapot made of porcelain. “I hope you like black tea”, he said with a sweet smile on his lips while placing the silver tray on the round table, next to the wide window offering them a great view upon the mysterious forest and mountains behind the academy.

Fires Can Indeed Be Lit Underwater ft. The Stovetop

The hiring process at Casino Barvinok hadn’t been nearly as bad as Namjoon had experienced before, and the itching anxiety of being miles underwater was slowly fading. The casino itself was fascinating, its color coordination and decor enough to draw in anyone if they weren’t already head over heels for jellyfish.

Which Namjoon certainly was. The lake had to be somewhat saline for jellyfish to live in it, but then again, magic could allow anything to do whatever the fuck they wanted. There were also jellyfish chandeliers, which was interesting.

“Thank you for your time,” Namjoon said, par the course for courtesy. He was just leaving Kai’s office with the other leading, both of them being enveloped by white noise and tones of blue. The surreality of spaces sustained by magic would never fail to feel like a liminal space to him. “Is there anything you need me to do right now?”

So please just don’t go barreling in there judging every little thing.” He fiddled with the keys in his pocket, his Mother close beside him as they stood at the door of his current home, his dorm room. He’d messaged Kai, made sure he was home and alone. They didn’t need another set of eyes to see how this would turn out, it was like he was living in one of those K-dramas. 

“Why would I judge?” She asked, he could just tell her brow was raised as if daring him to let slip some sordid detail of his life that wasn’t exactly up to her standard. 

His mandarin flowing naturally, his tone at least steady for the moment. He was beyond nervous, this wasn’t exactly something he ever pictured happening. “Because you’ve been judging me for years for what I am, so let’s just cut the crap. You wanted to meet him so here we are, just be nice,” he’s all I’ve got.’ Was what he wanted to add but refrained. 

“I shall try to remain impartial now stop dawdling and open the door. We’ve been standing here for far too long.” She took the keys from his pocket, ignoring his protest. The door unlocked and was slipped open without much noise.

Yuèhai walked in with a flabbergasted Luhan trailing. Oh how clear it was that she hadn’t stepped out of her community in such a long time.

Jealousy

Kookie’s entire face fell as he was told that there would be no cuddles today with Pretty Pretty, and when he found out why, something stirred inside him that was sour. They were hanging out with their ‘Noble Steed’ which just so happened to be Xander, the stranger that Kookie had met in modern dance. There seemed to be a perminant scowl on the bun’s lips as he thought about the two cuddling up together while he was left without warm cuddles. Kookie was no longer a big fan for Xander for the moment, stealing his cuddles with Pretty Pretty. Grumbling Kookie just went back to his bed and cuddled but between the two large teady bears that Yura had given them.
