Imaginary Friend Dorm: Terra 3E Student Classes: Human and Earth History, Music Appreciation, Theater/Drama, Modern Dance, and Earth Customs and Human Social Protocols Disclaimer: Not the real Jungkook - Mun is 18+
Iâm sorry to say that I will be dropping Kookie from Insolitus Academy. This muse will be going on an indefinite hiatus until one day I hopefully get a muse for them once more. Iâm sorry to everyone I was plotting with and roleplaying with as our threads will have to end. I wanted to thank everyone who welcomed me and treated Kookie so nicely (or not so nice) [basically thank you for interacting with him]. Kookie may be gone from Insolitus, but I am not! If youâd like to continue to rp with me, Iâm also Eileen! Iâd be more than happy to brainstorm a plot or thread with you on them.Â
The angel felt her heart break at the little soul, looking down at his feet when they walked along the hallway. His voice was just audible from where she was standing, wishing he could just go back to the warmth of his own dorm. A few red welts could be seen from his skin, concerning her but she didnât want those worries to be known between them. She just wanted to make sure he was okay.
A few little snickers emerged from a classroom, setting Yoonjiâs hair on end. Before the boy could notice, she glared back at the group of bullies, gnashing their canines together with delight of the prospect of picking on him again. It was the first time she felt full resentment to a kind similar to her own. She pondered why someone would take joy in making this poor soul upset, the only time she really wanted to punch someone for no apparent reason but to see them suffer for what they did. With the vengeful glance returned, she focused on the frail boy again. âDonât listen to them. Iâm a Guardian Angel, I wonât let those idiots hurt you.â
Kookie shoved his hands into his pockets, he was really tired of getting picked on. He wanted to stand up for himself, but he was so weak ... Maybe he needed a change in classes. There was a sword fighting class right? Maybe if he took that he could build some muscle and strength, learn to defend himself. Heâd start going to gym more often. Heâd show those bullies that they messed with him for the last time.Â
Stuck in his own head he didnât even notice that the woman was still following him. Glancing at her he blinks a little bit. âYouâre my Guardian Angel?â He asks with a small pout on his lips. Where were you this entire time, he felt like asking her, but didnât. âReally?â He asked not too convinced seeing as she looked pretty frail herself, like a porcelain doll.Â
âT-two?â She tried to speak while giggling at that fact. It was quite cute of him to keep more than one tooth brush around. âWhatâs the need for two? One does the job, doesnât it?â Cupping one of her cheeks, the girl cooed, âAyeeeeee~ Iâll eat one or two then, alright? No more than that.â She gave in quickly after seeing how adorable the boy looked as he pouted. The smile on her face grew wider as she jump started towards her destination. âI LOVE YOU!â She shouted with joy, falling face first onto the bundle of fluffy happiness. âTHEYâRE SO SOFT! I WANT TO STAY HERE FOREVER!â The witch was squealing with delight.
âOne for the top teeth and one for the bottom teeth, saves time in the morning if you use two at once.â He says nodding his head a bit. Puffing out his cheeks a bit he nods his head. âOkay okay! Just tell me your favorite and Iâll make it.â He says with a bright toothy grin. He couldnât help but giggle at how the other was acting. She really seemed to like his toy collection, almost as much as he did. Moving to his bed he cuddled up between his two favorite, the giant teddy bears that his Noona gave him. âYou can stay there as long as you want.â He says nuzzling the bear on his right.
âI think it best you live and let live, darling. Accept him for who he is, he makes her happy, after all. As do you, but being jealous of a lover is somewhat.. Silly, do you not agree? What was that saying that is oh so popular in the human realm? âBroâs before hoeâsâ? I believe that should still apply to you.â She wasnât really sure but then again, when did that ever stop her from talking and offering unwanted advice?
Relaxing back into the sofa, a hand was raised to rest the side of her head in her palm, lids slipping closed for a brief moment as a smile split her lips, fingers of her free hand running up the side of her thigh. âHmm, different strokes for different folks, Love.â Her voice hinted at amusement, the gleam in bright red eyes being a dead giveaway for how entertaining she saw this boy to be. âPromise, I will not harm a single hair on your body. If I had wanted to bite you I would have done so already, it is quite an easy task when you can persuade someone to do so.â She held out her hand, pinkie extended towards him as if it a pinkie promise would do anything to solidify what she had just said.
His ears move down against his head as the strange woman suggests that he just let them be. âBut...â He says with a pout on his lips not really liking the advice. He wasnât jealous of Yuraâs boyfriend, he didnât want to be Yuraâs boyfriend, he just didnât want to share his time with her. The more time she spent with her new boyfriend, the less time they get to play with each other and eat sweets and do fun things. His ears twitched slightly at the saying, his head tilting to the side. âBros before hoes?â He asks not getting it.Â
âYou say funny things.â He says not getting all her weird phrases. Scratching behind his ears he just stares at the woman, still a bit unsettled by the red of the womanâs eyes. âPersuade...â He says puffing out his cheeks a bit. Getting bitten doesnât seem something that the bun boy would be easily persuaded to give in to. âNu-uh. I wouldnât say yes.â he says stubbornly. âIt hurts, and thereâs blood, and I donât like it.â He says shivering, rubbing at his shoulder a bit with a frown. âAnd it leaves permanent marks. I donât like it.âÂ
For someone who wasnât all that fond of being surrounded by people, sitting and reading in the cafeteria was an odd place for him to be. He was trying though, trying to push himself into awkward and uncomfortable situations, that he would learn to control his anxiety. If he could control that then surely he could use that in controlling his newer urges.
He was somewhat thankful though, the man who had been sitting beside him had finally gotten up and left. That strange, strange man had no sense of personal space and for a good half an hour had been driving Myungsoo absolutely insane. His hands had been firmly gripping his book that at any second he could have torn it in half. Just the feeling of that strange man rubbing against him, it truly grinded on his nerves but he had survived the encounter.
At one point he hadnât noticed himself grabbing onto a glass of half filled water, gripping and playing with the glass in a bid to somehow occupy his mind while he tried to focus on the words before him. As his fingers tapped against the glass, the water rippled to a stop as small shards of ice creeped through the water, hardening it from where his fingers touched.Â
Jungkook couldnât help but just watch the other who was a self proclaimed monster. It was interesting that they hadnât noticed him yet, and he was kind of glad that he hadnât, he could make a clean getaway if needed. He didnât seem as scary as before after all some other kid was rubbing up against them and they didnât try and bite them or push them down to the ground. Maybe the other was only scary outside near trees.Â
Eyes still trained on the vampire, Kookie gasped a bit as he watched the other turn the water in the glass into ice. Did that mean they were like Elsa? Maybe they were related to Elsa, was Frozen a true story? Excitement started to course through Kookie which seemed to be overpowering the fear he once held for the other. Finishing up his lunch he quickly moved to throw out his trash and made his way towards the other.Â
âCan monsters be related to Elsa?â He asks standing across from the other, he didnât want to sit across from them yet, still a bit worried that they might try something. Kookie didnât think that the other would try something though, not in a room full of other students, Kookie seemed to have the upper hand here if anything was to happen. âHow did you do that?â He asks pointing to the frozen glass.
Jungkook had be living in a fairytale that never really existed and it was the little things that were slowly making cracks in the illusion he kept believing. Monsters could climb trees, there was no where safe to hide from them. Boogie men donât just creep in the night, but also the day. Not all monsters look like monsters. And some teeth were sharp and tear flesh and muscle. He didnât know why or how, but Kookie seemed to attract the monsters to walked amongst everyone else at Insolitus. Monsters that prayed on the imaginary friendâs innocence and naivety.
This was the blow that shattered the imaginary friendâs fairytale world.
Jungkook had been out late at night, he was lonely and just wanted to go out and have fun. He liked being around others, he liked people doting on him and normally his innocent looks got him positive attention. And he was getting positive attention from the women walking by, they were clearly drink, making cooing noises at the bun, petting his ears. He very much liked the attention as it was something he needed. Except it wasnât liked by a group of intoxicated males who saw Kookie as someone who was âstealing their women.â
The men roughly grabbed the women by the arms, tossing them back away from the bun. âYou canât do that! They werenât doing anything wrong!â The bun called out, worried about the women who were now running away from the scene. Ears pressed back Kookie was backed up into a corner by the men who looked fairly angry, which just made Kookie even more scared.
âShut the fuck up you brat.â One of the men said takin hold of Kookieâs ears and roughly tugging on them, causing the bun to yelp out in pain. âWell Iâll be damned, theyâre real.â The man snickered and tugged on them harder this time.
âStop! That hurts!â He cried out in vane, tears filling in his eyes as his heart rate started to rapidly increase.
âAw, poor baby.â Another man mockingly cooed at Kookie. âYou really think we care?â He asked before his fist collided with the bunâs stomach, causing him to double over and gasp in pain, eyes wide in horror.
âFucking brat like you, what do you want with our girls? Think your baby act will get them to fall for you? Youâre pathetic.â He spit at him before the man who was holding his ears threw him to the ground where the others started kicking him. Kookie tried to curl up as much as he could, hands and arms covering his head, trying to protect himself from getting a concussion.
âIâm sorry! I wonât do it again! Please!â He tried to beg them before the wind was knocked out of him, causing him to gasp to try and get air, but nothing was coming in or out and the bun was terrified for his life. There was a swift kick to his face and soon he was seeing stars, just barely holding onto consciousness.
âIâm calling the police!â Kookie heard someone faintly in the distance. His ears ringing, vision coming and going as he laid on the ground.
âShit.â All of the men said as they stopped kicking the bun. One of them leaned down, picking Kookieâs head up from the ground by his hair. âFucking grow up you pathetic piece of shit. Youâre so fucking pitiful, didnât even try and put up a fight. Youâre lucky you didnât end up dead.â He said letting go of the bunâs hair and running off before the police could show.
Whomever called the police must have rushed over to Kookie and started to toxic him, try and help him. âDonât touch me!â He screamed at them, shocking them.
âIâm just here to helpâ itâs okaâyâ
âI said donât fucking touch me!â He screamed out again. Swearing for the first time in his life. The bun was shaking on the ground, covered in dirt and his own blood. He was in pain, he was scared, so scared that he ended up wetting his pants, and he was angry. Angry that he let them walk all over him, angry that he didnât try and fight, didnât try and run. Angry he let himself he get in this situation.
Weakly he tried to push himself off, ignoring the strangerâs suggestion to stay where they were and wait for a medic or someone. âFuck off.â He muttered under his breath, pushing through the pain, pushing through the darkness that threatened to take over his vision.
Finally standing after a long while, Kookie started to limp toward the academy. He did not make it too far as he ended up collapsing in the village. Laying in the cold wet grass, Kookie would never be the same after this. His world was shattered. He didnât want to be weak anymore. He didnât want to be babied. He wasnât a child. He wanted to fight, to stand up for himself. He wanted to look trouble in the eye and say âFuck you.â
If trouble always seemed to find him, heâd start seeking it out first. Heâs bound to win at least one fight, right?
"Never-" Seungie rolled her eyes dramatically as she sighed, "have you lived under a rock? It's a sweet rice treat with filling in the middle. I haven't had one in ages.. You should treat me for the hot cocoa I bought you."
âN-No.â He says ears pressing down against his head, pouting a bit as the other sighed at him. âI-- Okay...Were do we get these mochi things?â
It felt really awkward for a bit. Despise his mental state the other still looked like a grown up student and the mechanic wasnât used to just simply let others be so close to him. Not in physical and neither in mental meaning. But still he was just a snobbing bunny so Gao couldnât help and simply let his hand rest on his still trembling shoulder.
âItâs always going to be okay. This is how life works. It snaps you in the face so hard to you think you will never stand up but then.â The man spread his arms to demonstrate better his words. âNothing happens. The sun still come up and go down and you learn to live with all the scars on your body and scars. HeyâŠâ He raised up his face by his chin sending him a reassuring smile while in truth he only hoped that the other wouldnât start vomiting again. Especially not on him. âDonât say things like this. Then go search someone else to make happy.â And please not me. He snorted at the last sentence. âYou know this was the most miserable one from all you just said. Iâm not really the creditable one.â He stood up trying to darg away before the younger come to a wrong conclusion.
âOtherwise Iâm Gao, a resident mechanic. Do you want to see my works?â It may sounded creepy but a little distraction could only help the other. He didnât know anything about imaginary friends but as it seemed alcohol wasnât a good idea in their case.
When the other mentioned scars he moved away slightly and sniffled a bit, his hand coming up to his shoulder. âH-How did you know I have scars?â He said his eyes starting to water up again as memories from the past regarding his scar started to flood his mind. Maybe alcohol wasnât good for the bun as it seemed that he only seemed to cling onto the bad things, rather than the good. Or maybe it was just the mood he was in when he started drinking that just seemed to worsen it. âSo what if the sun comes up? It goes down...And then weâre left in darkness.â He says glancing up at the other, the tears still in his eyes, but not falling down his cheeks, yet.Â
âHow do I find someone who makes me happy? I have friends...â He says fidgeting a bit. He did have a good handful of friends that he really liked, but he never really moved under the surface with his friends, they all thought he was the happy go lucky bun that he tried to always be. He always tried to hide all the things he didnât want to deal with, and with the alcohol it seemed that it all just exploded to the surface and unfortunately the mechanic was the one around to clean up the overflow. âI have friends, but I canât tell them how I really feel...They wouldnât like that...They want me to be happy, I have to be happy for them.â He says wiping at his eyes.Â
âMechanic?â He asked softly not really knowing what that was, but he nodded his head regardless. âI want to see your works.â He says standing up, although he tends to wobble, not really able to stand on his feet reliably. âItâs...Itâs not far is it? I donât...I donât want to walk too far.â He says really just wanting to sit back down again. âWait...Where are we going again?â He asks furrowing his eyebrows slightly, looking all confused. It seemed that the bun wasnât very good at remembering things right now. âWorks!â He says clapping his hands together. âYour works...what is your works?â He asks puffing out his cheeks a bit. He plops back down on his butt and just stares at the other as if the crying and the self pity never even happened. Giggling a bit he hums and plays with his floppy ear, fairly distracted.Â
Just watching Kookie create the candy for the hot chocolate made him look so much for forward to it; even more than originally - so he couldnât really do anything but nod in excitement at the question asked. âYes, please! No perfect hot chocolate without marshmallows.âÂ
Ravi started putting most of what he had needed back as they waited for the hot chocolate to finish, a glance around the room being everything he needed to spot his laptop. âIf you want you can go and start the movie already? My laptopâs on the bed.â It only took a couple more minutes until their beverage was ready and Ravi filled the mugs with it before carrying them over to the bedside table. Before joining the other on the bed, though, he went back and got some candy from one of the kitchen cabinets and returned with a bunch of different candy. âI guess weâre perfectly prepared now!â
âMarshmallows from all!â He said filling the otherâs cup with marshmallows as well, chuckling a little bit. It was excited to see that someone liked candy canes and marshmallows as much as he did.Â
âIâll get it to the menu! I wonât start it without you, thatâs no fun.â He says bouncing over to the bed starting the movie, waiting for it to get to the menu. Some people didnât like commercials, but Kookie did, he was always excited for upcoming movies. âCandy and hot chocolate and Frozen....This is the best day ever~â He said snuggling himself under the covers before he presses the play button on the laptop. âThank you for inviting me over.â He says with a bright smile.Â
The wait didnât take long. A couple of minutes after Nevaeh warned Jungkook about the dangerous creatures, his eyelids started fluttering close and the room became silent and still with the clockâs tick-tock noise becoming more apparent. Â The pixie sighed in relief that he was now getting the much-needed rest to heal.
Jungkook looked utterly cute while sleeping: so peaceful, untroubled, no sign of pain or suffering. Nevaeh realized this was her first time watching someone sleep like it was the most normal thing to do. Last year when Ian cheated and fell asleep while watching Frozen, she was pretty much occupied in watching the remaining thirty minutes of the movie, cleaned up the center table where she laid the snacks when it was done, and prepared dinner for her sleeping friend. She recalled staring at his visage for about five seconds and played with his nose sprinkling snowflakes, which made him wrinkle his nose just slightly, whispering, âthatâs your punishment for sleeping in the middle of the movie,â before covering him with a quilt. How she watched Jungkook took longer like she seemed to have been given the right to watch him sleep after offering a helping hand.
Without making a sound, Nevaeh fluttered her wings up and off the counter, tiptoeing as she slid outside the kitchen and out the door to retrieve the binders left in the hallways. She returned placing the books on her desk, making a quick note that the homework was due the day after tomorrow and she should finish them by tonight and stuck it on her lampshade. But for now, she should focus on her guest, the sick Jungkook.
Jungkook has completely encased himself in the comforter provided for him on the dinning table. Honestly the term âsnug as a bug in a rugâ fit Kookie perfectly, maybe it was because he was sick, or that the room was fairly cold, but under that comforter he was very very happy and in a blissful sleep. Normally the bun had nightmares, but there was something about the presence of the pixie that made him feel safe and sound. Even if there was a slight second or two of worry when she mentioned that he shouldnât trust otherâs so easily. If anything that would probably be his downfall one of these days, being over trusting.Â
Kookie didnât even stir when the pixie picked him up, he was in such a deep and needed sleep with being sick. Though if he were to stir and wake up, heâd be pretty surprised that the small cute pixie was able to pick him up so easily. Being put on a new bed and being given a fluffy blanket that smelled like wild flowers, the bun unconsciously snuggled into it, curling up into a ball, nuzzling the blanket to take in the soothing scent. Â Soft cooing noises came from the bun as he was sleeping, his ears twitching every now and again against the soft pillow that his head was gently resting on.Â
It was like Nevaeh knew everything about Kookie even though they had literally just met each other. She had provided him with a nightlight, because honestly he was scared of the dark, and she kept the dog at bay, because he was scared of dogs. He was scared of anything that bit really, he had a couple of run ins with people who liked to bite him, he didnât really appreciate that so much.Â
It was the smell of food cooking that really got Kookie to stir, his stomach growling a bit. It had been a while since he had really got something good to eat. He was lucky that he didnât have stomach problems, just fevers, aches, and shivers. Making small noises he finally opens his eyes and makes himself sit up. The medicine was still working in his system so he didnât feel too crappy, still a little cold though, so he continued to wrap himself in the blanket, padding his way to find his savior.Â
Looking for the pixie, Kookie finally finds her out on the terrace, his ears twitching as he listens in on her conversation. âWhoâs Nova?â He asks gently his voice a little gruff from just waking up. He still looked sleepy and he was swaying a bit from side to side yawning. âSorry for eavesdropping...I just...I smelled something yummy.â He says pulling the blanket tighter around him.
âO-Oh⊠Cool.â An imaginary friend? That just makes zero sense. If Kookieâs an imaginary friend, then doesnât that mean heâs not real? And arenât imaginary friends only visible to the kids who imagined them into existence in the first place? If his five-year-old self would have known that itâs possible for his imaginary friends to come to life like Kookie⊠then he probably wouldnât ever have a social life, so maybe not knowing at that time was a blessing.
He just hopes his face isnât giving away any of his thoughts because the last thing he wants is for the kid to think that heâs doubting himâ which he is, maybe a bit. Imaginary Friends seriously canât be a race, can it? Theyâre literally figments of imagination. When Kookie questions his race though, Seokjin clears his throat. âA healer.â Not wanting to venture further into that topic, he gestures for the younger male to follow him to the kitchen. âBut enough about that. Letâs go cook something. Maybe your powers can come in handy for this one.â
Jungkook tilted his head a bit as the other didnât seem too convinced that he was an imaginary friend. Pouting a bit he just watched the other slightly wishing that he could read their mind. âYou look like you donât believe me...â He says shifting a bit. âI really am an Imaginary Friend...I was imagined after a black bunny rabbit doll.â He says pulling at his ears a bit a sad look on his face. âMy creator was Minjun...a little boy.â He says glancing back up at the other when they clear their throat.
âA healer? I think our guidance counselor is one too.â He says, although heâs never been to the guidance counselor, maybe he should sometime, he seems to get hurt a lot. Or well now maybe he could go to Seokjin. âOh and there are some other healers too, I think there are tow more students? Maybe...â He puffs out his cheeks a bit as he tries to think about the rest of the students. âCan they?â He asks lighting up a bit. âHow can I help? I want to help.â He says with a big goofy smile.Â
Jackson actually smiled brightly at the other maleâs comments. âThank you, I really hope Iâll be able to do so,â he said with a soft voice. It was a comment that made Jackson really happy and proud. After all, it was something he really wanted to accomplish and the fact that someone thought he would be able to do so. Well, he was glad someone thought like that.
He laughed happily when he noticed the soft noises and nuzzling that came from Jungkook. Apparently he did really enjoy the petting, making Jackson not wanting to stop for a while. âWell in that case I can continue it for quite a while so,â he laughed as he wasnât getting tired yet. Though if it was true what the other said, then he would eventually tire out, way before Jungkook got tired of it. âOnly if you want to though. Do be careful alright? Though the feathers probably wonât fall out easily, they are sensitive. But if you want to you may comb through them,â he smiled and nodded, hoping he would encourage the other even if he had to be a little bit careful.
âWell I donât know? It seems that if you are imaginary that you could change yourself to whatever you want? But that might be a really stupid thought,â he said as he pouted a bit embarrassed. âWell itâs like⊠Often the love is already there and we help it? Or it has potential and we just bring it out?â
âReally?â He got so excited that someone seemed to like petting him as much as he liked being petted. Although the imaginary friend looked more human than a bunny, his actions were very much like bun. He liked being cuddled and petted and adored, he really liked the attention to be honest. When the moment came for him to run his fingers through the otherâs wings though, he could wait to be petted another time.Â
Sitting up looking all excited he straightened up and nodded his head. âI promise Iâll be really gentle. They look so soft and fluffy and touchable.â He said fidgeting around in his seat. âMy ears are really sensitive, so I understand, I will be really really careful.â He said biting his lip a bit as he was really excited to touch the beautiful white wings. He didnât move to touch them though, he wanted the otherâs absolute permission before he started to touch them. Although he was a bit worried about their feathers falling out, he said it wouldnât happen probably, but there was still a chance and Jungkook didnât want to be the one to do it.Â
âWell...I was made by a child and he invisioned me like this, so I donât think so.â He said his hyperness coming down a bit, his eyes glancing at the floor. He didnât like talking about Minjun much and what had happened between them. âI think thatâs really cool...More than I do, I just make toys and candy.â
Jackson didnât really notice what was going on around him for a while. He didnât seem to be really bothered, besides the fact that they had just tumbled down and that his wings were now dirty and unordered. After all, he didnât really have some kind of animal instinct. The only instinct that he really had was a love-instinct, if that even excited. So he wasnât bothered at all. That, however, didnât change the fact that he did believe the other male. So he got up, decided to worry about his wings and feathers later, and looked right at the other. âYeah sure, of course I believe you. So If we need to leave, then letâs go. Question is, which way? Before we make it even worse for ourselves,â he stated, scratching the back of his head as he looked around. For once a kind of smart note that came from him. âLetâs worry about the how later then, first letâs get going?â he suggested. After all if he really thought something was wrong and they needed to go, they could worry about the how later.
Jackson was scanning the area around them. If there was something wrong, if this wasnât the wood they were used to, then they should orientate. They should figure out what the best way was to go. Which seemed kind of impossible. Though there seemed to be less trees then before, the forest seemed to grow wide. It didnât give any indication to which way the shortest way out was. He groaned as he couldnât figure it out. Looking up a bit surprised when the other gasped and actually hit his shoulder. âWhat?â he said, looking confused and surprised. Especially after Jungkook said something which seemed.. Well obvious? âYeah we fe.. Oh. OH!â he stated. Almost wanting to ask why the other asked something so obvious. Until he continued. âHey! No that wasnât our fault! Though the woods were supposed to be.. Well not safe but.. This isnât supposed to happen so you canât be mad at us for having fun,â Jackson tried his very best to calm the other down, even if it was just a little bit. Jackson walked closer to the other male and thought of ways to calm him down. Though it seemed quite hopeless when he flopped down and said something that surprised him a bit. Especially the reaction that came after that.
âHey! Hey now, donât start like this? Sitting down like this and being sad before there is anything to be sad about?â Jackson started, crouching down in front of Jungkook, placing his hands on the males shoulders. âListen up. We might not be at Insolitus anymore but Iâve been to other realms before. Better, I was born in another realm. We got here through a portal, so we will find a portal back home. Promise alright? Iâll try anything in my power to get us back,â Jackson said, looking serious for probably one of the first times in his live. âNow stop those tears and letâs think of a plan. I actually thought that we might fly up towards the roof of the trees. We canât climb with those high hanging braches. But I can fly us there. Then we can see which way the best way would be to go! How does that sound to you?â
Jungkook stared up at the other with glassy watery eyes, trying not to cry anymore as the other said not to start acting like this. He just really did not like the atmosphere, he was like a lost child, and any lost child would act like he was now right? His physical state really did not portray his mental age. Sniffling and rubbing at his eyes he tried to wipe the last of the tears away, though he still sat on the ground floor, hugging his knees to his chest. âI want to go home.â He said weakly, he didnât mean the academy, he wanted to go back to his child, he wanted to back to his own realm. He wished that nothing had changed between him and his creator, he wanted to live to posh life of play and candy eating. It was rare that he let someone else see him in this form. He liked playing the happy bubbly cute bun that everyone believed him to be. He didnât want people to think that he was always sad. Something about the atmosphere just made what he kept bottled inside explode.Â
âYouâre...going to get us back?â He said still feeling a bit useless still, but slightly better that someone took the initiative to get them out of here. He was happy that they both werenât in ruin, someone was still strong and staying positive. Standing up Jungkook nods his head and moves close to the other, his hand actually tangles into the otherâs shirt for comfort, like a little child would do with their parents. âI can only float a little bit...I canât get all the way up there, I canât fly like you can.â He says softly, still sniffling a bit. âCan you fly me up there with you? Will I be too heavy?â He asks softly glancing up at the tree tops. âWhat about your wings though? You landed on them...and they have twigs and leaves and...â He bites his lip a bit letting go of their shirt to gently comb his fingers through their wings, trying to be even a little bit helpful.Â
âTheyâre really soft...â he says as somehow the soft fluffiness of the otherâs feathers made him feel calmer. Picking the rest of the twigs and leaves and dirt out of the otherâs wings he takes just a few more seconds to comb through them, as if they were a safety blanket. Moving back to the otherâs side he gently grips onto their shirt once more, nuzzling their shoulder. âTheyâre all clean now...are you sure theyâre not hurt or anything?â He asks softly glancing up at the top of the trees. He used to find trees very calming and relaxing, safe. A recent run in with a vampire though had changed his view on them. He was a bit cautious of going up there. âWhat if we go up there...And monsterâs find us?â He asks remembering what the vampire had said, monsters can climb trees.Â
âThomas.â he confirmed as he played with the paper from the straw he had picked up for his chocolate milk. Hazel eyes on the other male in curiosity but still very much on his guard. Almost as if the other was deliberately fooling him. Odd, so odd.Â
âIt is nice to meet you⊠Cookie?â he asked and blinked a few times âYou were named after food?â He thought he had heard everything after learning that Mister Key was actually the name the professor of Charms and Enchantments went by instead of some weird nickname. âI am okay. Why were you lonely?â He asked and pushed his chair a bit back as the other seemed so eager, too eager almost. The witch cleared his throat again.Â
âNice to meet you Thomas.â He said with a friendly smile, humming a bit. It was a nice name, although it sounded a lot better when the other said it, Kookieâs heavy accent shone through when he tried to pronounce it.Â
âNo...My name is actually Jungkook, spelled with ks, not cs.â He says before taking a bite of his lunch, it was a common misconception honestly. Thomas was around the third person that asked if he was a cookie, like the chocolate chip kind. Ears perking up a bit he tilted his head a bit as the other asked why he was lonely, he thought it was very clear why. âNo one was sitting with me, so I was eating lunch all by myself.â He says shifting a bit in his seat. âBut now that youâre here Iâm not so lonely.â He says with a smile.
It was impossible to not get amused by Kookieâs reaction and his personally in general. The boy was simply irresistibly cute with all his whining and pouting. âIf you have more homework, you should get it done as fast as you can.â She tapped his forehead, mischievously. âThat way you can go play sooner.â That advice was simple and very accurate, but the boy seemed quite tired to look at books, so she put them away anyway.
As Kookie mentioned shiny earrings, Yura glanced beside her, lifting her hand to touch her own earrings and chuckled. âYou can get any type of earrings! Shiny, big, small, black, blue, shaped like a bunny or a banana.â As she spoke, Yura started to count down the possibilities with her fingers and quickly reached her phone to show Kookie the many variety of earrings there was. âYou know, I can pierce them for you. I did mine.â She winked and observed Kookieâs ears closely, checking how they were.
He pouts a bit and glares at the remaining pile of work he has. He really didnât want to do it, he didnât like writing, he didnât like being corrected so much it made him felt very frustrated. âI want to play now, homework later.â he says pushing the pile even further from him. Taking his attention away from the books he returned back to the conversation at hand, his ears and getting them pierced.Â
âI want a shiny one.â He says puffing out his cheeks as he glanced at all the different types of earrings Yura was showing him. When his Noona started to mention that she could pierce his ears, everything started to become real and he shifted a bit wondering if he actually wanted this. âWouldnât...It hurt?â He said a bit scared of the pain that it might cause. âI donât like pain...â
