Mini Review:
When I first saw this on Amazon Prime I thought to myself, not another Amityville movie. Just what the world needs but then I saw it was directed by Henrique Couto and I saw two other movies made by him earlier in the week (Alone in the Ghost House & Devil’s Trail) and I enjoyed them. So I figured what will it hurt to watch one more pointless Amityville movie. Plus the fact it was a found footage movie that really helped me decide on watching it.
And I must say I wasn’t disappointed in the movie. So even if you are tired of Amityville movies give this one a try, you’ll enjoy it.

Mini Review:
When I noticed most of the people involved with Alone in the Ghost House were also involved with this movie I just had to check it out because I rather enjoyed that movie except for the ending. This movie was kind of like an episode of Naked and Afraid without the naked part (except for the three witches, but they were blurred out so it didn’t count) and a paranormal aspect was thrown in.
Kind of like the Ghost House movie I really enjoyed the whole thing but the ending. It seems like a lot of movies anymore are really good but the ending ruins it. Well, maybe not ruins it but brings it down somewhat. It’s almost like they get lazy towards the end of a movie and don’t know how to properly tie things up. Regardless of the ending though you should check out the movie, it’s worth it.

Mini Review:
This movie was actually rather entertaining, it didn’t have a lot in the way of jump scares and other creepy moments but as far as a b-rated found footage movie it was pretty good. Also knowing the movie was shot in three days and a majority of the dialogue was improvised I was impressed. The movie did seem a lot different than I thought it would be from watching the trailer but that’s ok it was still good just not what I was expecting. The only reason I gave it four out of five cause I didn’t really care for the ending even though I was surprised by it. I almost came close to renting this on Google Play but I saw it on Amazon and figured for free I have to watch it but I still would have been pleased if I paid to see it.
So if you get a chance you should really check out Alone In the Ghost House.
