"Shit, I forgot my umbrella again..." I mumbled to myself as I bring my hand out a little to where it's raining. Some droplets of rain fell on my hand which made it feel nice and cold, oddly soothing as well.
I sit down and watch most of the students from my school walk, ride their bikes, and drive to the dormitory. I stay under the shade where it's dry as everything else is getting soaked. I wish I didn't forget my umbrella.. I would've been at the dorms by now.
"Oh- Tyler, have you forgotten your umbrella again?" A somewhat familiar voice has appeared aside me. I looked up beside me and saw my friend Carol, holding a big umbrella and smiling a soft smile at me.
"Maybe.. You know that I'm always forgetting things, Caro.." I chuckled as I get up from where I was, dusting myself off.
"Say.. Wanna come with me to the café? Or do you just want to stay here over night all cold?" Carol asks me, adjusting his glasses. I didn't want to wait just until the rain stops, I'm kind of an impatient so I nodded and replied with, "Sure, doesn't sound too bad."
Carol leans his umbrella towards me and waits for me. I like to keep distance from people but he's my friend, a good friend. I don't want to make him think I'm uncomfortable around him, so I get close to him. I put my hand on the umbrella's handle but I felt a hand, it was Carol's hand.
I immediately blushed and moved my hand somewhere else on the umbrella.
