My old Jonmund art on here has been doing numbers as of late, but the piece has certainly aged, so I wanted to redraw it. Two years progress <3

Do one of those time travel fics where Jon wakes up before Jon Arynn was murdered but after he’s already got Ghost and instead of him immediately running off to the north to reunite with Tormund he heads straight to Ghost in the kennels (he will not be returning him lmao) and comes into the dining hall with an EMBARRASSED ball of white fluff in his arms (‘Jon. Jon plz I’m supposed to be the size of a small horse. Jon plz stop carrying me’) and talking to him like he’s a baby (that’s his baby!!! His boy is a pup again!!) because I just feel like it’s funnier and would lead to the wildest misunderstanding ever.

Theon: I see Jon has finally gone daft, I always knew it’d happen.

Jon: *holding Ghost above him to nuzzle into his belly like he would one of his and Tormund’s grandkids* What’s wrong with loving my little soulmate?

Theon: Maybe the part where you’ve become convinced a wolf is your soulmate?

Jon: Yeah? Because his soul is merely a piece of mine that exists within us both.

Arya: Like Old Nan’s stories about wargs? Jon do you think you’re a warg?

Jon: *is a warg, literally all of the Stark kids are* It’s not just me! All of our direwolves are a piece of our souls 🙄

Ned: *freaking out, wondering if Jon’s mix of Targ and Stark blood made him a warg instead of making him immune to fire* :/

Sansa: And what made you decide overnight that you’re a warg?

Jon: I didn’t say I’m a warg, just that I know Ghost is my soul. Anyways, it’s all in the dreams, ask Bran.

Bran: *face full of food* ????

Ned: *looking between Jon and Bran, wondering if Jon is actually a seer and maybe thinks Bran is too*

Three hours later Ned decides to finally ask Jon what he took (probably mushrooms idk) and who gave it to him, opens up cautiously asking about his dreams. Jon looks him dead in his shit and tells him Jon Arynn’s wife is cheating on him and planning to kill him. And then leaves.

Ned comes back a week later with news that Petyr and Lisa have been arrested and he’s going to have to talk to some people he knows.

Jon: *in the middle of packing his room to disappear in the night now that Kings Landing isn’t gonna happen he’s sure*

Ned: *comes into his room* Oh, good, you’re already packing. I guess your dreams showed you the wildling I’ve been told to contact that would have you with the visions.

Jon: …?????? Um… yes? Above the wall? We’re going above the wall?

Ned: Yes. I’ve been told Mance Rayder wants to talk to me about an alliance and his wife is a seer who asked him to send me a message to offer help if I talk to them.

Jon: …nice.

Then of course what would happen the minute Tormund lays eyes on him in the Free Folk camp Ned and Jon are now in the middle of

Tormund: *pointing at Jon and speaking Firebrand tongue* I TOLD YOU ALL I TOOOOOOLD YOU ALL I SAID HE WAS REAL AND LOOK AT THAT DUMB LITTLE CROW STANDING THERE LOOKING ALL TINY AND CUTE AND THE WOLF OH MY GOD THE WOLF IS SO SMALL-

Jon: *being hugged by the giant* :)

Ned: *doesn’t understand a word he’s saying* :) he must also be a Seer as well 😌

Anyways. I need to write this. Tormund is just happy his little crow is back. Ghost is being held way too often lately and he’s embarrassed. Jon is on a father-son camping trip.

No he’s not a seer. He’s so confused on where Ned’s wires got crossed there.
