Okay now for a personal tip: you can look all these amazing writers and go through their fics. You will find many many many amazing ones and you will probably make them deliciously happy commenting on something that hasn't got a comment in some time. I am currently going through Vivi's fics and I've not found one yet that I didn't love. Amymel86 (@amymel86 here) so many amazing fics too you can spend a whole week reading and not get bored. I absolutely love KittyKatKnits (@kittykatknits here) fics too.

I think I got you pretty covered. As I am terrible with fic names my honourable mentions that I can't remember the name:

Modern!au where Sansa is the heir to the throne and she meets Jon in college and they fall in love. - amazing, brilliant and I think it's complete, at least that's how I remember it

One where Jon is a vampire and saves Sansa from an abusive husband and then both of them do that for other women suffering from abusive relatives

Another one where Jon is a vampire and Sansa has to feed him because her dad and Robb left

There's one where Sansa is a Goddess and D@ny and Arya are too and D. and Sansa fight over baby Jon and Arya has to take him to protect him but later he and Sansa find each other again and it's all fun after that 😉

There's two where Jon and Sansa are Hogwarts teachers. One I know I haven't finished yet, but I can't for the life of me find it and the other Sansa was an unspeakable I think and Jon fell through the veil before becoming a teacher?

There's also one where Sansa falls in a book and go back in time where Jon and her previous self just saved Westeros.

Ohh and there's another one where Jon and Gilly work together, he is a reclusive author, but Gilly goes into maternity leave and she recommends Sansa to help him and it's amazing

Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

@hilarychuff you asked this forever ago, and I totally forgot about it until just now! I’m very absent-minded. 

I love writing dialogue...it comes much easier than prose for me. But let me see, let me see...

I really love writing scenes where Jon confesses his love to Sansa (because I’m JONSA CLOWN), so I’m going to pick the last one I wrote for Know The Love Part II (though that Jon has a few gems from Part I that I like too):

"I did it for you." He was a black silhouette, framed by the red glow of the fire. "I do it all for you, Sansa."

She was a wick.

"Jon-"

"Sansa, please," his voice was as hoarse as hers. "Indulge me now, and I will not burden you with these affections again. I understand that another laid claim to your heart long before we met, and I promise I will not stand in the way of your happiness, no matter how it twists at me… but please let me tell you how I love you… now, while I am weak with wine and sentimentality."

He drifted closer, wrapping her in his shadows. "My feelings for you have not changed." His hand hovered near her temple and she knew his touch would be the spark and she would burn long after he turned his wolf's gaze away. "You hold my heart. No other will have it."

"Jon, please." She knew not what she asked for, but she blazed for something; some relief from the heat filling her lungs, the weight crushing her windpipes.

"I know, Sansa. I am not asking you to deny your own heart. I know that we cannot marry… not now, and perhaps not ever. But, just this once, before our duties tear us apart again, bear my longing, for I'm burning for you." His hand, still achingly close, fisted at her cheek, as if he were fighting not to touch her. Touch me, she wanted to scream, or I will turn to vapor. 

Instead, he stepped back. "Tell me that you love him."

I don’t know. I love writing heart-on-his-sleeve Jon with a completely tongue-tied-in-private Sansa. I like playing with the idea that she is much faster on her feet in public. Where he is a bit gruff and impatient, she is this excellent diplomat and orator that can handle the lords and knows just what to say to garner empathy and consensus. Meanwhile, in private, he is the first to give voice to his feelings, where she really struggles with that vulnerability. He also tends to cut her off in their private conversations, not because he doesn’t want to hear her speak, but because he just can’t contain his feelings anymore, and has to get them out...and she’s just always a bit overwhelmed by him (unless she’s angry, and then she has no problem expressing herself). 

I try to channel my inner Jane Austen when I’m writing these moments. I love the way her leading men confess their love.

The very day she decides to forego showering in lieu of dressing up quickly to get to the office on time was of course the very day she gets to ride the elevator with Jon Snow, aka Mr. Quietly Perfect, aka the guy she's been crushing on since time immemorial.

I tried to get back to writing for Jonsa.... I really tried.... I tried to finish my Bran is Bloodraven fic.... And it was a devastating experience... It made me so sad, for all the wasted potential yet again.

Guess I’m not ready yet. Writing fics will still be Harry Potter and Slytherdor ships for me in the foreseeable future.

I’ll try again at some point, I am sure.

Reading wise I am still not ready to read season 8 fix-it fics... I just want to live in a happy post season 6 space I guess.

Talking and discussing ASOIAF here is nice, though, and I’m grateful for all the people who come into my ask box, be it for HP and Dramione or ASOIAF.
